Blockchain Technology in recent years has caught a big stir! Reminds the situation of the emergence of the first online stores and cloud computing, then there was a similar situation.

Do you remember the days of the Internet boom?

Then absolutely every people and each company switched to "business on the Internet."
The rapid development of companies such as Amazon or eBay has caused the great attention of people to the new opportunities offered by the global network.

Then there were many companies that used the mention "Internet" as a kind of "magic spell."
This helped them easily receive significant investments but not only from venture funds but also from more traditional financial institutions.

A similar hype can be observed with blockchain-technologies.
The blockchain is definitely an important technology. But some firms overly exaggerate its usefulness or simply call the already existing services, which are deprived of the fundamental components of the blockchain technology. There was one funny incident, which clearly shows this problem:

In December 2017, Long Island Iced Tea shares rose at 432% after adding the word “blockchain” to the company's name, and Long Island’s market capitalization rose to $ 70 million.

And now, when the noise around the blockchain is so bloated, some companies refuse to use this word at all.

In a new report where Forrester Research says that the word "blockchain" for some companies is now being replaced with the abbreviation DLT - distributed ledger technology. The word, though not so memorable, but partially describes the essence of the technology.

I think that these words will, in any case, be used in the community, as they have already thoroughly entered into our slang.

What do you think?
Will blockchain disappear?

Of course not. The blockchain technology will be integrated into the most diverse areas of our species’s world life. For example, learning to invest in the accounting of working time. The application of this technology can be very different. The most important thing is that this is really applied and not ignored.

The appearance or disappearance of Blockchain are all games that are undue
The future is far from been fetched
And the past seems entangled already

Let’s survive the bearish position first
It’s all that matters now

No, it won't. Safer to say in our lifetime. Blickchain technology hasn't been utilized to its full potential. There is a lot more to improve in terms of innovations, usage, adoption, and securities. At first, only few believe that blockchain technology will have the chance to grow. But, look at the blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, these are very significant in our modern world.

As long as we're here moving this system it  wont end. We belive that this is the future so we should stay.  Price goes up and down.  Support and have faith.  We shall prevail.

First of all, you got a really nice piece here. The use of DLT can never replace the word blockchain.  The world is yet to see the magnificence of this unique disruptive ledger technology. Funny enough, more and more sectors are utilizing the blockchain and some new researches are geared towards it or hinged on it. Soon people who are talking against the blockchain technology will embrace it, it's certain. So in essence, Blockchain can never disappear in my own opinion, since many sectors including the healthcare is now hinged on it. Imagine tracking immutable records of patients easily on the blockchain, sounds good to me , for instance.

What a strange question you have?

Cryptocurrencies may disappear and I doubt it very much, but the blockchain is accepted in many government sectors and has a great future.

Blockchain is a revolutionary invention and it wont disappear. In fact, blockchain its only in the beginning of its path and a lot of companies, that are not focused on crypo, started to implement this technology in their platforms. Even thou crypto tokens might loose value, blockchain will still be useful.

The blockchain is a technology of the future, cannot disappear, at least in the next 20 years. Nowadays, many large organizations have applied blockchain technology such as H&M and Amazon into their shopping chain. Therefore, I suppose that Blockchain will become the revolutionary in the future.

I think that the word 'blockchain' will disappear from the names of the projects and companies for sure. But the word in its primary meaning will not. The companies do not use 'internet' in their naming but we use this word everyday.

Certainly not, blockchain technology will never disappear. Blockchain technology will pioneer the next industrial revolution and it will be integrated into most of the traditional business models. Blockchain is here to stay and we are lucky to be among the early believers of it.

It's sad to look at the market, but I'm sure it's nothing more than a game. There are many players in the market and the largest need to remove the average. Just be patient and wait for the profit.

I am sure that the blockchain technology will not disappear because it is the future that really helps to change the world for the better, which is not the cryptocurrency market, because there is instability and high volatility of the market and no fundamental news reflects the market  Cool

I do not think that even blockchain word is going anywhere, blockchain represents the basic structure of the decentralized technology whose one application is crypto currencies, in future it will keep growing its scope and will enter more and more niches and helo increase the efficiency and performance of the working and procedures of the project where it will be implemented.

Blockchain will remain forever in the cryptocurrency. Imagine what is the functionality of the coin if you remove the blockchain? There is no functionality at all. The cryptocurrency, coins and tokens will be useless if they have no blockchain. How can they make transactions on it if there is no blockchain. The cryptocurrency and blockchain is a tandem that can't be separated.
