People who expect a bull run in 2018 is just unreasonable. We just had mega bull run last year. Building a momentum for such bull run takes time. Most people don't expect for another bull run this year, they just hope that the correction won't bring Bitcoin to previous level.

I just give up on expecting on the bull run of market because of the thing that happen yesterday where the price of all solid coins are drop. As of now the price of bitcoin already break the $6000. With the recent drop in the price of bitcoin many people seem to be very negative about what it is happening but you need to see the bright side, the longer the price remains in the current levels the more time you have to accumulate money and buy bitcoin at those prices, remember those that made the biggest profits in 2017 bought bitcoin way before that.

Bitcoin cash fork is seriously affecting cryptocurrencies market as the price of almost all the coins are falling.  The competition between bitcoin cash and sv is going to be real in some days to come and this is going to affect the price in the future.  I think we are going to see the price of bitcoin cash divided into two in somedays coming.
Bitcoin surging in price may not happen this year again as the strength to go up is very limited and there is a whole way to go down.  I think this year remain the bearish market years and the remaining part of the year is not going to make any serious different.

Indeed, the expectation that this year will be a huge year seems to be the disappointing for those who have invested when the market value of cryptos are at their peak. Some already sold their tokens and some people do still hope for a comeback. I'd say holding is more appropriate because obviously, this year is just the correction of what happened last year particularly with regards to sudden increase on crypto value. So probably, next year might be again huge for cryptos.

After the dramatically declined of cryptos market yesterday, I think the hope about price surge of BTC in 2018 is impossible. I think with the sad situation at the moment, the only thing you can hope is that the exchange rate will drop further and that is the best opportunity in 2018 to invest at the bottom of cryptocurrency exchange rate.

As far as demand goes there's plenty of institutional investment waiting for an opportune time when the price is right to enter the market so there's likely to be decent support around this price range but a solid upward trend might not occur for a little while due to consolidating positions

I have been expecting that in December there will be a continuing plunge in price of Bitcoin because during the holiday many Bitcoin holders may need to encash or convert their holdings to real cash. We will just hope that eventually in 2019 there can be a real bull run that can recoup what has been lost in 2018 though admittedly this can be an uphill battle. Actually this is just part of the cycle for Bitcoin and am sure that many people are still clinging to the idea that Bitcoin's value can be better next year. Let's hope for the best.
