There is a scam that a friend experienced in the past which is address poisoning, as I later found out. The money is still sitting in the scammer's wallet and visible through blockchain explore. I want to ask if there is anything you can do to recover such fund. I understand it may be a lot of work for you or anyone and I don't even know if such cases are within the scope of your services.

Since the wallet address is not enough. What if the user only have some of all the info you mentioned not all. For instance, if dont have the seed phrase or password. But he has like the email, or backup from when the wallet was created?

I believe that would work right? Especially if he can find a way to get the JSON file. I have heard of similar cases and only few was able to restore their wallet.

I don’t think it will be possible to get access into someone else’s wallet without their consent, that will be tagged stealing and if it’s possible, then it’s not longer recovering but now hacking and stealing and I’m just they wouldn’t  want to tagged as such and with that been said, I think for them to be able to access an lost wallet, then it must be with the consent of the original owner, but now how will they know that, one is an original owner? The answer is by providing the necessary details for the work but my question is that, what if all these details are provided and the person who gives you the job isn’t the original owner of the wallet despite providing you with all the needed informations and details, what will be the repercussions?

Why I ask is that I have a friend that participated in Solana airdrop before it was launched in 2020, he did all the task as at then and at the end of the day he was given more than a hundred Solana token then, due to the fact that he wasn't that knowledgeable in crypto then and don't know the importance of keeping his secret phase safe, that was how he lost all those Solana when the mobile phone he was using then got damaged, so as I saw this, I reach out to him, he said that the only information he has that was used to open the wallet was his email, and it's trust wallet, so I don't know if it's possible to retrieve back that Solana with his email address used in opening the wallet?

Thank you for the response. I was thinking that since the funds are still in the scammers wallet and not yet moved, there could be a way they can recover such funds. I saw somewhere that they don't recover stolen with a phrase that suggested that it might be because scammers would have moved the funds. In this case the funds are still in the wallet which gave me some hopes that it could be recovered. If this is not possible, I will still not be too worried because the owner of the money has already accepted the loss a long time ago.

I think if they make their company a legally registered organization with their business registered and office address verifiable, that will bring some level of trust and transparency to their business. Giving them information for the sake of wallet recovery will just be like taking an old computer to the lab for repairs. Trust is very important for a business that is as sensitive as wallet recovery because it is a trademark that is earned.

I understand that their service is a very unique one but I’m surprised as to why they haven’t gotten the required trust and publicity for this long they have been running their service when when there have been several news and stories of people losing access to their wallet.

Secondly, the issue of transparency for a service like this can’t be over emphasized and as such, the keychainX team needs to work more on their transparency and reputation because if they’re reputable enough, people wouldn’t have to question their integrity.

I also don’t know why for this long they didn’t get all the needed verification and authentication from their previous clients and works and just as the saying that, actions speaks louder than words, that’s supposed to be the case here but the reversed happened and I wouldn’t have to blame them entirely because I also understand that humans always try to play very save to avoid been scammed and the case with wallet recovery is a very crucial one as anyone who is trying to recover an account would want to stay safe not to lose the funds in that wallet and some might even prefer to leave the wallet believing that, they would remember and get get access to it someday, so their team needs extreme work to build trust in the people

The truth is, they might be busy with other things but that doesn’t justify the case here and that’s the reason why they need to have more customer representatives to aid their work and make things easier for them especially in gaining the trust of their prospective clients.
You just mentioned competition on this field which I doubt, having maybe one or two other persons running this same business isn’t competition for the entire cryptocurrency market and frankly o recent just got to know about a recovery service and I do expect more from them since they already identified with the forum
