I have tried it, is it possible to send ethereum without downloading app? I couldn't find it.

Yes, you can, but if you are going to access your wallet with your private key, you need to download the app, if not, it's not possible.

I have never used MyCrypto, but I am a Myetherwallet user, I just want to say that all this time using MEW is safe and comfortable. Maybe many people think about hacking MEW but it's very difficult. The point is we must always be careful, in my opinion, both are the same. thank you

MyCrypto is developed by the same team of Myetherwallet, so we can trust this wallet.

Even if MEW gives us so many functionalities it can hacked by little mistake. I think Mycrypto will be solution for that. I haven't still use it. If it has been founded by same team that have made MEW we can trust on that.

It's really simple. Use MyCrypto instead of Myetherwallet. It's made by the same team, It looks the same and it has more improvements so there is no reason why you wouldn't use it.

I haven't seen a single phishing attempt yet targeting Mycrypto, most likely because hackers are not really aware of it as of now as not many people use it. Either way, the domain name is shorter so It's unlikely that you'll fall it.

For me, MEW is also safe its just that the user must be careful so as not to login on phishing website. Mycrypto on the other hand is also safe and secure as I said early the user just have to be careful when using those wallets.

honestly I have never heard of Mycrypto wallet, but I'm sure mycrypto wallet is no less good than myetherwallet, so in my opinion which wallet I am is the same if we can't maintain the security of our own wallet

In order not to suffer from phishing,it is necessary to observe minimal precautions. It isn`t difficult at least sometimes to check the name of the site.

Phishing is when hackers buy a domain name that looks similar to the original one and also make the web page looks the same and they try to make you upload your wallet file there and put your password etc.

I don't think MyCrypto could be considered as an online wallet because your info is not stored there but my point is, MyCrypto looks different and the domain name is somehow different and short and hard to find similar to it and until now, I haven't seen phishing attempts targeting it so it could be much safer to use that for now.

I also prefer to use MyCrypto desktop version, it's much safer based on users testimonials and experienced, so far all we are reading are MEW phishing links but we have not yet read Mycrypto desktop wallet hacked unless the owner handed to other his own private key, now that's a different story.

I think it's a good recommendation to avoid phishing, now it's very vulnerable to hacking that occurs as a result of phishing. yes, but there are actually a lot of options especially for our own pc's endurance. I think currently investors and members here have experience to prevent hacking

It is a recommended act to always check the site link very well before clicking on them, I know someone that have made such mistake and unfortunately all the valuable asset owned in the person wallet was transferred out. Especially MEW pishing link that request for private key before one can open it. The best way is just to check very well before opening any site.

Even the real MEW will request you private key to access your address, it's always safe to get the MEW app installed on your PC otherwise use the mycrypto app so that you won't get bothered checking the link every single time and you will reduce the risk of being phished into a scammy website.

All opportunities to earn money online is the target of hackers and scammers, whether mew or mycrypto,it's all the same. I think the only way to avoid this things is to use hardware wallet. Web wallets are prone for hackers I think.

I don't know what MyCrypto is. Anyway, I think you are just missing a point that that site can also be phished. Right now, we don't face any phishing site for mycrypto because it is not too famous among the users. I believe, like as me, most of the users don't know about mycrypto and they are simply using myetherwallet. Soon, the hacker will also try out phishing through mycrypto, just let it be quite popular.

Are you kidding that hackers do not know of another site, and therefore got hacked? It’s mostly our fault that our wallets are hacked. The Myetherwallet has only one problem, that there is no two-factor authentication.

Yeah scammers and hackers are everywhere and we should be vigilant on our money and make it as our habit to transacts only on those credible sites or have it bookmark and as much as possible we must update our antivirus to detect those malware.
