Although the market has witnessed a terrible sale, Bitcoin has grown in terms of market share. According to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin's dominance index has risen to 54% while early today it accounted for only 51%. It looks like this is a chance to buy into the bitcoin of many people.

The only reason I would be scared about buying BTC is that it smashed through the $6000 resistance so it could drop a lot lower

All of the time bitcoin is volatile and it can hit lower than your expectation. Buy only if you think that you are ready to do so but if not then you should stay away and don't do any unnecessary moves that you will regret later.
Yes, it could drop a lot lower and that's not a surprise if that happens, you also know that it could rise a lot higher than what we are expecting so that's basically a normal understanding.

Our market is well known for being manipulated and that is what attracted many traders to the crypto market. Good psychological analysts and technical analysts, they will win in this market. This is a free market. The founders of the altcoins do not need to hold much money, they just go manipulative to have money. This is a big problem that needs to be addressed.

Today is the BCH hardfork so this was affect the yesterday but we don't know this only a right reason for crypto dump. Because day by day moving forward and downward in reason day. So peoples are waiting for the bull run in crypto platform and some peoples are buying more Bitcoin in yesterday so sudden jump is possible in end of this week.

I was shocked to be stunned by a fairly healthy decline as usual that this is an unstable crypto as people said a few months ago,market manipulation can be said that way but the number total ppl of groups is no less certain there is a fight in a healthy market crypto.

Most of the traders or crypto enthusiast always pointing their finger to the miners every time there is a price dump in the market but really have a point right? They have enough funds to sell from the coins they mined. If you got a link or source where you got news, this thread will be interesting to discuss. BTC is supposed to be decentralized.. but i heard some time ago, this just the other way arround.. 2or 3 big mining groups have a 90% of the supply...

its seems like because of Chinese miner pull out their plug. hash rate has drop 20%. i dont know its some big scheme behind the scene or chinese government do some crazy stuff again.

Manipulation is really possible like this drops in an instant without any news then we can also think that many users,traders and investors unite to sell in drops so better to do is to buy now like grab the chance because the price is really low actually anytime the price of btc and alts can drops a lot so if you believe that they will grow in the future do investment here then if not just find other way to earn that you like

We don't really know on what is the exactly reason why the market are still in the dropped and it cause fear to a lot of newbie investors. By the way it's a good chance to buy bitcoin and hold for long term, I believe it will rise soon.

The current status indeed is really surprising and shocking to all of us users. With the drops of value was suffered for long and most users being hopeful already for the profitable rate of bitcoin. So manipulation could happen this time that some are also hopeless for the status of the market.

There have never been 700bn dollars in the crypto market. Just because the marketcap was that high does not mean that's the actual dollar amount of money that's in the market. If any big holder tried to sell when the market cap was that high then the price would instantly crash.

Biggest drop? I don't think this dump is really big, there are so many dumps in this year and this time I think it's really normal, not so big. ). I often don't want to find out the reason for every dump cause it takes too much time and I can do other better things with so much time like that than just finding out the reason for a dump. Come on. This isn't market manipulation, at least not in the 'whales are manipulating the price to make more money by lowering the price so they can buy cheap'. There are many reasons for the fall and it's also not that significant of a fall, other than the fact it's a new yearly low. Be positive. Bitcoin is still going strong and has every chance of recovery soon. Also a simple google search will offer many reasons which could have been behind the fall, all more compelling then market manipulation.

That's called blind faith, you should always have some level of worry as it stops you from being complacent and ensures you're constantly evaluating. Taking in to account the price drop, consider if you still believe in crypto for the long term and if you do then it does present a better buying opportunity.

Obviviously, when i talk about buying more.. it is with fiat.. nowadays people that life only from cryptocurrencies will hardly survive.. we still need an income in fiat to keep on. But this will be only for a few years..  in teh future, when we talk about fiat, it will seem just as a preshitoric type of money! crypto will be the main currency in 2 decades!

I guess this has become a norm in this space. Before now or rather, when I got into this space in 2017, there was always clear reasons there were price drops, sometimes it was mere corrections, as it was touted. But the current price levels is one which is beyond explanation and any clear reason. Here we are still experiencing further drops with no specifics of where the bottom is gonna be at. This is obviously a manipulation and it goes to show how long it would take before cryptos go mainstream.
