I am happy with the growth of blockchain technology in several countries such as South Korea, Venezuela, Japan, China, they began to believe in this new technology, and a few days ago Malaysia has a plan for using blockchain technology to prevent fake diplomas.

The Malaysian Ministry of Education says that fake diplomas can be easily obtained in the online world.

they have plans to explore the world of technology in the world of academia. and academic certification will use the NEM blockchain.

What is the role of blockchain in your country to prevent any fake documents?

Wow, I did not know that about Malaysia, it is difficult to graduate from a university? or they are very expensive? There are not public universities or something? It will be interesting to see how they implement the NEM blockchain technology for that and I think that they will be pioneers by doing so. If that works it would be a huge contribution to the blockchain companies plus a good example to follow for other countries

i always find it pretty strange when they try using the blockchain technology in some field that is not even related to the technology itself and usage of it can even make it less secure or less efficient.
in this case usage of a smaller blockchain technology such as NEM is even more strange since smaller projects are riskier to use because of possible bugs, unclear future and attack surfaces they have which can not be known right now.

NEM is a reputable provider of blockchain technology, and I believe that is a better choice for such application since the fees incurred is relatively low compared to other blockchains. They also continue to improve their network and the team behind them is still working on it.

I think Blockchain is now widespread all over the world. Some countries like Malaysia are doing extra jobs, but almost every country is getting ready to adapt to this technology.

It's a good thing that cryptocurrency is growing in Malaysia. That's another country to go to. No matter how many country bans Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency in their places, it would still find a way to make cryptocurrency relevant to them because cryptocurrency is growing.

The Malaysian Government has adopted the blockchain technology as it has good potential to improve the socio economic conditions of the country as well as it  brings clarity and transparency in all trading transactions as the blockchain is a decentralized network and so no one will be able to manipulate the network which helps in generating good profits to the country.

Wow thats a nice move from malaysian government to use blockchain for educational purposes in which will bring good fortune for the student and the education sector as well

My government has no exact stand towards blockchain and cryptocurrency, but they are neutral regrding all matters, meaning people can freely use or do whatever and whenever they want to explore crypto and blockchain

it is good news coming from one of the developing countries. combining blockchain technology and academic needs in this context is a university. We need to support collaboration like this and continue to develop positively so that later more new innovations will be related to the implenetation of blockchain technology that can benefit the lives of people globally.

The Malaysian government has been trying to catch up with advanced countries. They used to be one of the most promising countries in Asia. Unfortunately, a huge financial crisis has caused their economy to fall into a long period of downturn. Now the emergence of Bitcoin is a New opportunities, if they can embrace bitcoin and blockchain, then the economic revival will be achieved again.

Firstly welcome the Malaysian Education Board to trust the blockchain. They decided that it's a good decision. Using Malaysia's technology, many complex tasks will be solved. And many countries of the world will be inspired to see Malaysia. I want to spread this technology to all the institutions in my country.

Blockchain is the reason that cryptocurrency will keep being around and in fact, will grow more. I do believe that with time, more countries even technologically underdeveloped countries will adopt it in their election, economy/finance and other areas.

Its nice to know that Malaysia has accepted NEM blockchain in education sector inorder to prevent any fake degree/diploma, that is indeed a great step taken by Malaysian govt. No doubt blockchain is one of the latest emerging technology it is being accepted by my tech savvy countries like Japan and South Korea but its is not yet accepted by big asian counteries like India and China, I hope blockchain will be more popular in 2019.
