I was surprised when I saw a message on the telegram, BTC below 6k USD, so search for the possible issue why bitcoin goes down that hard last night and I see no other reason than the Bitcoin Cash fork.  I was like wth, Bitcoin is not forking and there is no major FUD spreading around the market.  Then I saw the post about BCH confusion affecting Bitcoin price.  Oh well, what ever it is probably it is a good time to buy Bitcoin.  I think that this is somehow a bear trap though.

Bitcoin is indeed down and this is an investor's mental burden so seeing the red market will react to all crypto.
I think this condition is a concern and requires correction. Hopefully, it doesn't last long.

Some people are losing money, some other gain. There are always pluses and minuses on the market.

Some even enjoy the fluctuation because it's the opportunity to earn money.
And some enjoy the early Black Friday promotions on cryptocurrencies.

indeed it is truly a bloodbath, but this is not the end for cryptocurrency, do not panic rather see this as an opportunity to increase your portfolio with more coins because prices will definitely rise again that is certain.

yes today I see prices dropping with a considerable percentage of fluctuations, I am also a little afraid of this fear that if prices fall uncontrollably, even though at first I hoped prices would rise at the end of this year, obviously this is something that can make investors panic, because this is not just a FUD but a fact, I doubt there will be new investors entering and increasing demand in the sense that it is quite small that the price will likely rise again or increase as late as last year

How many of you get the victimized by the word HODL? At first major fluctuation I was able to sell my crypto and then buy out when the crypto was cheap. Relatively I earned more crypto that time because I bought it cheap. However, this figure may still drop for more or even worse it will be gone and bitcoin will going to end. So for now the best thing to do is Sell and observe Market price movement.

Merely looking at the topic "Black Wednesday", i flash back to old days were the whole market turns red over a couple of days before the market itself jet back with a significant bull run. The crypto-community can do more injuries to themselves if not HODL till the current situation in the market normalize, let's us all HODL things will get better.

Yeah, this is the most common advise here. You would say the same all down to 200$. And Your argument is: IT WILL RISE BACK AGAIN.

Black Wednesday indeed. I'm not one to fall for prophecies, doom or otherwise, and there's no light at the end of the tunnel, or ray of sun beyond, nor a steep spiral to death. At least, not for the foreseeable future of years.

But I'll add something positive - if this is the extent of a single day decline, if this is the blackest and it's the low of the year (in the same year we saw ATH), then we really should be breathing a sigh of relief.

Still plenty of time left for Bitcoin to surprise us though.

Indeed! We won't be greatly affected if we are on this for a long run, imagine those people who bought Bitcoin when it was less than a hundred USD and waited until last year.  This mere drop does not mean an end for bitcoin but rather another opportunity to buy at a great discount.  HODL and wait for the price to recover.  This reminds me last year when bitcoin price plummet trapping those bears and released a barrage of bulls running to break its ATH several times.

That does not mean bitcoin is dying, we keep hearing this all the time and you know what? Whenever I hear Bitcoin is dead, it means the price is ready to increase.

It really hurts and very sad to hear drop of bitcoin prices especially when we all expect something positive increase in the price. But let us not give up and we know bitcoin will come back as the mother of all coin.

these coins are called "stable coins" for a reason! they are supposed to ALWAYS have the same price no matter what is happening in the market. the most famous example is Tether or USDT and as we all know they are not really that stable, they also fall from time to time and worst of all is that they are centralized and risky to use.

as for the price drops, this is only because of manipulation and the BitcoinCash crap that is going on these days. and as soon as it is over we will be back to normal with bitcoin price.

I also watched it and monitored it too, but it doesn't lead me to be afraid for what happening in the market. But I now lot of the community really got scared were bitcoin down to below 6000$, but this things is a sign for me that bull run is nearly close to be happen. So we still hold our coins more.
