The prices went deep in 2018, not just bitcoin or ethereum, all coinsi i mean all coins lost and nothing has changed, still we are searching new hopes.. If we have 2019 just like the past year i wouldn't think that the market holds, we would have biggest crush in cryptocurrency histroy and everything could fade away.. Well the entire market pretty much is moving with bitcoin so definitely we will feel the effect on all alts if in case btc goes that low. Though i'm pretty confident about bitcoin's support and we're likely on our way to recovery even though it may take a while. Ether's moved up 100usd after that horrifying 80usd drop so there's a gradual upward movement in the market now.

If that happen other tokens and coins with low MarketCap will definitely affected and suffer some consequences. But i believe that in due time some of those coins/tokens will recover and some will be wipe out only those platforms that has true used case and utilization will survive.

I have never envisage that bitcoin would go below $3000, although, some people are still predicting that, but I do not think that is possible any more, not even in coming year. Even at that, bitcoin has gone lower than its all time high for this month, yet there are some coins that are not affected by that. For instance, ethereum has grown in satoshi value despite what is happening to btc.

Bitcoin has dropped to the 3k rate and that has been created a lot of problems even the major platform just like ETC is out of funds to continue its development. Well, that gives a huge impact to the whole of crypto and it's not only bitcoin.

If ever that situation will come in reality, i actually think that the altcoins value will most likely be at their lowest point. Although these currencies differ in purpose but their market values somewhat correlates with one another. If BTC falls to $2k, then all of the alts will fall with it. But no, it won't be the end of ICOs, just a temporary setback. Crypto is still very strong and offers huge promise. I'm confident that BTC would recover from that low, and the good alts would recover too.
