There are probably thousands of tokens listed on respective exchanges now and most of their prices went downhill. However there are still being traded on a daily basis. Who are the ones trading them?

Example is below. There still a 24hour vol of 343 ETH, although price has been dropping since listing.

Well, mostly investors or bounty hunters trade if there is a coin in order. But almost always after listing on the exchange in the first days, the volume of trades in the token or coin appears and then gradually fades away. Then the developers themselves include bots that trade among themselves and have almost no effect on the course, but they affect the volume per day. After all, if there is no volume there, then the exchange can delete and the developers do not need it.

or

Grin Grin Do you take Bitforex as an example? As someone tell me earlier, BitForex fake trading volume in order to lead the top of exchanges in Coinmarketcap. I do not know whether it is true. But I think it probably happen.

everyone!

at first it might have only been some people who sold their ICO tokens as soon as they were listed on an exchange but now that everyone knows the dump is imminent they are all rushing to dump it as fast as possible. and there is always the pump and dumps of these tokens that attracts a lot of people.

It doesn't make sense to take bitforex as an example consider about that exchange site has been used bot combined with fake volumes. I guess OP should visit CMC in the list of an adjusted volume of exchange site and that will give a lot of reasons. But due to the bearish trend and that dump looks a real thing.

I think investors and traders are making the volume in exchanges. Some other investors use bot to trade for them that able to make them profits. Well we see the ups and downs in the exchanges every time because many are doing trading in the crypto currency market because of the high liquidity.

those who trade them are traders who like to look for profits every day and
obviously that is a very good action because now is the opportunity to buy.

Yes, I know that. But it seems that he is confused due to high trading volume while bearish market. Therefore, I would like to tell him to find other exchanges to get a better answer.

All exchanges must use trading bots to increase trading volume for them as well as create liquidity for the coins. This can be easily observed when looking at its order book.

They are the ones who believe in the project, the price won't matter to them as they look at the future not at the current price. In my opinion they are wasting much time on tokens while they can do it in BTC and fiat pair can directly affect the price but those people are concern more of the quantity of tokens I guess. If say you have about 10M Dent Coin or 10M SURETY tokens, its still worth a lot of money compare to just having 1BTC.

Usually those who start it are ICO developers themselves or investors who do not follow the presale and Token Sale. Usually the developer gives the price according to ico but after that it will definitely experience a large dump by the investor holding the token

Isn't it clear that they are all investors who buy when at ico. Do you think there are other people besides investors who do dumps?

if indeed there are other people I'm sure that is definitely not the bounty hunter. because before the bounty was distributed the price had also dropped

You really don't know the answer? Of course tokens holders are trading all these tokens after listing on exchanges. Tokens holders are investors, dev team, bounty hunters (if these project run a bounty campaign), traders (whom didn't participate in ICO but they wanna get profit by trading these tokens),.....

Both investors and bounty hunters do trade after tokens got listed on exchanges no matter what the price is most especially when the tokens is good for investment and the other thing is there are always fake volume created by bots trading when in reality there is no one buying and selling

It all depends on the conditions in which the holders acquired the coins.
Bounty hunters who did not buy their tokens but rather earned them through taaks are more likely to dump on exchanges.
Also some projects offers large bonuses and this compels investors to dump as they would profit even selling at a lower price.

But an investor is unlikely to sell lower than s/he got the tokens for.

It's depends on the project. Many time it's attract the investors after the ICO also. Apart from that mostly insiders trade like who made investment in the ICO or Bounty hunters or team.

Mostly the blame are on the bounty hunters once those tokens are listed to an exchange. And next are the ICO investors, they don't care of the project on how long it should take but what they believe is they are going to get back their ROI quickly once that token is on exchange.

I also wondered about those people who after the token is almost sold by everyone are still trading it on the exchanges and my best guess was the bots and some developers who wants to keep that token alive for good times. Some tokens do get alot of attention and then don't need those bot trading as they attract a good chunk of the community.

There are so many guys are trading ICO token after these tokens listed on exchanges. Maybe they're the whales or investors or normal traders or maybe they're bounty hunters,.....as long as they can get profit by trading any token, they'll do it no matter if it's just a new token or just listed on a new exchange...
