Seeing how the odds are pretty often against you in gambling as the gambling services are for making money out of you and not the reverse, do you still decide to gamble? If so, why?

I am also a gambler and i really do think playing gambling is just a watse of my momey and time, that is why i only play gambling if my friends started to ask me to go with them to have fun but i don't push myslef to use a lot of money in playing.

It is confusing when you say that you yourself is a gambler but you think that it is a waste of time?

A gambler is a person who gamble regularly. Based on what you are saying, I think you are not a gambler since you are not gambling regularly, you might have an experience gambling but I don't think that is enough to call yourself a gambler. I am gambling but I don't call myself a gambler because I know that will just end my good life like my friends now.

Some people think of it as that way, but for other people, I think that gambling to them is not a waste of money and time but rather a chance to increase their income and when they fail they end up having no money and doing the same thing all over again once they have their hard earned cash to gamble with.

Well if it does give you a good time when you play with your friends then i don't think it's a waste. As long as you can afford the time and money you put into it and it gives you a good feeling. It only becomes a waste when you go beyond proper reason and you put in a little too much.

I don't think gamble is wasting of time and money. For me, it's a good way to relax ). Everytime when I have trouble or stressed, I often play dice or sport bet. It's really work no matter win or lose, I don't know why but it make me feel better at the end . Of course I'm not a gambleholic so I feel normal although I lose or win.

You just have to treat the rake, which makes the odds look like they're against you, like the casino free that you pay to enter and play. They need these money to pay the dealers, clean the floors, pay the bills. It's a good idea to bet low and just have fun. You're going there to have fun, not to become a millionaire all of a sudden.

You have a good approach there, keep it up! I also prefer gambling to many kinds of activities which people normally use to loosen up a bit, and I really feel better and can work more productively after playing dice or poker for a while. And it doesn't matter whether I win or lose as long as the amount I lose during a day is less than 5% of what I earn in one day. In some cases I can lose up to 10% of my daily earnings, but I try to make that happen as rare as possible.

In fact, gambling can be "a waste of money and time", but it depends on you whether you make it as such or you make a harmless entertainment out of it.

I was gambling with faucet/airdrop money, then lost these small sums with dice and so I've not looked forward for other gambling sites/systems. BTW I keep watching the industry as I find the provably fair concept extremely important and necessary.

Well if it does give you a good time when you play with your friends then i don't think it's a waste. As long as you can afford the time and money you put into it and it gives you a good feeling. It only becomes a waste when you go beyond proper reason and you put in a little too much.

Yes, if you have fun when gambling with friends there isn't any waste on it. It's a pleasant activity like any other people do during their spare time. Some people like to go to the movies, nightclubs, malls, while others prefer to gamble (and on each of these activities you will have to spend some money anyway...). The important is to spend money with things you enjoy, even gambling.

Of course that i used to gamble for profit purposes before, because it was an easy way to make a huge amount of money (probability to double up in less than a second)

But once that you realize how bad it is, then you start being a little bit more sceptical and you dont want to risk that much. It is all a cycle

That has always been the problem of a lot of gamblers. The reality is what OP has just stated, so it is left for you as an individual to either accept that reality and know how you can control yourself by limiting your approach to gambling, rather than trying to focus too much on winning. If you already know the possible outcome of something, the chances of not pushing yourself too hard will not be there. For me,gambling is not really a waste of time and money if you just gamble for fun and pleasure.Satisfaction is what most of the people are looking.And having to gamble even for few hours will not make us lose too much.I think that's already enough not to be addicted with it.
