But you have to accept the reality that victory does not happen most of the time.

I cant fully agree with the bolded part, for me victory is not the main fun in gambling. Indeed I believe 95% gamblers or even more will say the same with you because their main purpose to gamble is to get profit. But it does not applies for those who gamble for fun only without worrying about losing some money. I like to play poker game because the fun is almost at every single hand while playing it no matter it wont be losing hand or winning hand at the end of each round.

You will get a bit of both if you gambled with your own money, most of the time losses than wins though. But if you are playing with someone else's money which will obviously get you in debt, then you will not feel bad when you lose it because few people respect the trust of the person giving them money. Yeah, we should not depend on this one and make gambling as a way of living, just play to enjoy. I gamble and I think its just a waste of money sometimes since I don’t have much money but since I want to have fun, I still choose to gamble without execting any profit in return. One can be a fun seeking gambler. If they are playing for fun or entertainment then they can continue playing without a care in the world accepting that the money they put in is not for making money but a payment for entertainment. Thats how many gamblers remain on sites to play more and everyday and as long as they wont end up wasting too much money there is should be good.
