Stance of 10 Major Cryptocurrency Exchanges on BCH Hard Fork

1. Coinbase Pro:
Coinbase will pause deposits and withdrawals, as well as buys, sells, and trading of BCH, starting from 16:00 (UTC) on Nov 15th. Coinbase has not made clear which split token(s) it will support, if there is any.

2. Bitfinex
Bitfinex will support both Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV, which are referred to as “BAB” and “BSV” respectively. These split coins will trade against USD and BTC as pairs BAB/USD, BAB/BTC, BSV/USD and BSV/BTC. Margin/leverage will be unavailable. Deposits and withdrawals of BCH will be suspended as of 07:30 (UTC), Nov 15th.

3. Kraken:
Kraken will only support Bitcoin ABC, and it will disable Bitcoin Cash (BCH) funding approximately 60 minutes prior to the fork, which is scheduled around 16:40 (UTC), on Nov 15th.

4. Poloniex
Poloniex will support both Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV. Deposits and withdrawal of BCH will be paused at 14:00 (UTC) on Nov 15th.

5. Binance
To support the upcoming Bitcoin Cash hard fork, Binance will take a snapshot of all Bitcoin Cash balances at UNIX time 1542300000, 16:40:00 on Nov 15 (UTC). Deposit and withdrawal of Bitcoin Cash will be suspended starting from 15:00:00 on Nov 15 (UTC).

As the Bitcoin Cash hard fork may result in two different chains, Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHABC) and Bitcoin Cash SV (BCHSV), Binance will halt trading in all existing Bitcoin Cash markets, including BCC/BNB, BCC/BTC, BCC/ETH and BCC/USDT, at 16:40:00 on Nov 15 (UTC).

Binance has not decided support which one until now. But there are two potential scenarios listed by Binance.

6. OKEx
According to the announcement of OKEx, OKEx will suspend BCH/USDT, BCH/BTC, BCH/ETH, and BCH/OKB trading, as well as BCH deposit and withdrawal at 06:00, Nov 15 (UTC).

OKEx has not decided support which one until now. In response to the upcoming Bitcoin Cash (BCH) hard fork scheduled, OKEx has prepared a response plan for different situations.

7. Huobi
According to the announcement of Huobi, deposit and withdrawal of Bitcoin Cash will be suspended starting from 13:00:00 on Nov 15 (UTC).

At 16:40 (UTC) on November 15, Huobi will take snapshots of the users who hold BCH at Huobi Global. The snapshot accounts include Exchange Accounts, Margin Accounts. Meantime, wallet accounts support the fork.

Huobi has not decided support which one until now. But Huobi has released the response what it will do to the hard fork results.

8. bitFlyer
bitFlyer supports Bitcoin ABC. According to the official Twitter of the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange bitFlyer, because of BCH hard fork, it may stop its BCH/BTC trading in the "Trading Zone" and "bitFlyer lightning" according to price change and trading condition. In addition, when a branch chain occurs, Bitcoin ABC may change its symbol according to the case of hard fork.

In accordance with the Bitcoin Cash hard fork, deposit and withdrawal of BCH will be temporarily suspended beginning at 13:00 (UTC) on Nov 15.

9. HitBTC
HitBTC supports Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV. It previously announced the full support of the pre-fork trading for BCHABC and BCHSV. Now, it shares its strategy for the full support of the network during and after the hard fork to make the transition as smooth as possible.

During the time of transition, customers will be able to trade all of the three currencies involved. The converter of BCH into BCHABC and BCHSV and back will also remain accessible.

If customer has already been a holder of BCH, he/she can convert the tokens at any time before or after the fork.

10. Bitstamp
Bitstamp supports Bitcoin ABC. According to an update on Nov 14, Bitstamp will only support Bitcoin ABC during the BCH hard fork, and the price of BCH at Bitstamp will reflect the price of Bitcoin ABC. Initially, the cryptocurrency exchange will not support any alternative chains, but it will take a snapshot of all balances before the hard fork and will then monitor the situation and decide about further courses of action at a later date, after the hard fork.

BCH deposit and withdrawal will be halted at 14:30 UTC on Nov 15. BCH trading will be available at Bitstamp with no interruptions. The exchange will post updates on our social media, as the situation unfolds.
