Born in a matter of a day, XFH lives by the motto “Anything you can do, I can do better and for free!”.

Built to be a clone of Haven without the governance fees that Haven implemented into their coin AFTER it had already launched to troll them for LOLs, Free Haven promises to implement every
feature Haven publishes which probably won't include their offshore storage mechanism since we all think it's a scam that will never ever make it to market other than private test nets. As an aside, outside of the offshore test net, we have already included every feature they have offered and have already made improvements to many of the core components with many more on the way!  A major difference between XFH and XHV is open transparency (witness the coin’s birth in the archived messages on the open Discord server and our blatant honesty about about it).  *edit 8:14PM CST 11/26/28*  It's been over a week since this ANN was published and the thought process behind this coin and its goals have changed a bit.  We are no longer just a "clone" of Haven.  At this point we are working to prove that the majority of CN coins are shit coins and that we can do better than them all and for NO FEE.   Free Haven Protocol is now just a temporary name that will be changed by CONSENSUS of the community here soon.  We are working on rebranding, if you want to participate, join our Discord!  

Our Goals and Mission
This is a coin built by the community for the community, so there is no central authority.  However just because we are going to implement whatever feature Haven does,
that doesn’t mean we are going to do it the exact same way, as we will be adding our own improvements so our coin can perform better and be safer.

Technical Specifications
The blockchain design of FreeHaven was built specifically to be a stable blockchain free from the problems most shitcoins of today are plagued with.  By implementing a custom
algorithm with a unique 15 second block time, FreeHaven’s network has hardened its defenses against outside attacks.  This new algorithm is called CN‐Superfast. In more
technical terms, CN‐Superfast is basically CN Haven with one quarter the iteration and a 2MB scratchpad.

A custom algorithm was chosen to help secure the network against various attacks that can occur due to rental hash power.  However this is not the only way to secure the
network for the average miner.  Most coins use algorithms purposely made complex so that secret optimizations can be placed in the hands of a few for them to reap the benefits
on the backs of the honest miner.  At some point in the near future we will be implementing an algorithm based on the Cuckoo Cycle such as Cuckaroo29 or similar to eliminate the
uneven playing fields setup by coin developers all over.

There is no official website or pool. There is no official block explorer. There is no official online wallet. All of these things are available for the community to construct, setup and run.
You may feel free to charge a fee for your services to the network as we will let the market forces and consensus decide what prospers and what fails. There will be bounties for
future tasks and development that need to be completed for the coin.

Some of our planned upgrades include moving to the latest Monero GUI wallet which has built in support for the Ledger Nano S.  Most of the work necessary to implement that feature for XFH is already complete as can be seen in the link below.  No current ETA on wallet upgrade but expect it soon ™.  There are already more plans in progress for continuing to implement features to secure the network and improve transactions.  You can follow the development live on the XFH Discord server.
