with the recent price action of XRP, ongoing partnerships of XRP and rippleLabs with different companies and money service providers and the use case of XRP in remittances, I think XRP will be the Standard in the future.
Agree with you, it will be standard in the future. If we are not in the bear market, with XRP's news in the past and now, maybe XRP's price has risen to 5-10$

This certified scam a standard? A standard of low lives and slaves thats about it.

"The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling."  Satoshi Nakamoto, April 2009          Avoiding taxes is totally legal if you consider and respect the law.

After such words from CEO binance, the growth of this currency can be expected from XRP. Need to watch for what is happening. If Binance adds a ripple as the main trading pair, then I’m sure that the price will increase greatly

I hope not, because there should be no centralised standards in the crypto currencies industries. Investors are strange guys, they are supporting centralised coins and the oldest coin on the market that is too old.

Binance CEO Calls on Ripple and XRP Supporters to Convince Him that XRP Is the Standard

Binance CEO ZHAO Changpeng is responding to calls from Ripple and XRP supporters to add XRP to the leading cryptocurrency exchange as a base pair.

On Twitter, ZHAO noted the strength of the XRP community, and asked its brethren to send him their best pitches for why he should pair every coin on the exchange with the digital asset.

What do you think about XRP?

Could i request a new pair for another coin than bitcoin, eth and XRP?

Anytime the community behind any project will always try to do that.

I would not feel any surprise with it, dude. We will see another major platform will try to request its pair to another altcoin or even major coin.
Anyone should even try to do whatever they feel like doing, but in the real sense, that does not change at all what Ripple is and that is the fact that it is just some centralized bullshit coin trying to gain some sort of relevance by all means.

I am sure Zhao knows that, but of course, he is busy trying to push the legs of the ripple community to see what they actually get to see in this coin in the first place, but as far as I am concerned, it is a centralized manipulated coin, so in a way, I just see it as the team wanting some people to see what they want them to see actually.

I don't want it to become a standard. I hope that XLM will become the standard for cryptocurrencies. This is true when cryptocurrencies are used. Otherwise, once the XRP becomes a standard, the altcoin will disappear.

Of all the coins that are suffering from major loss. Only xrp are not affected the most. Even bitcoin and ethereum which are in the top five coins suffers most due to many users that are panicking to sell immediately. This coin is great.

Everytime Binance CEO ZHAO Changpeng say something about a cryptocurrency on his Twitter account, there will be some change/update about it on Binance exchange, i have watched this for a long time. This time i guess it's the signal that Binance will make XRP as trading pair against altcoins.

hope Ripple not get success, if anybody truly believe in crypto and decentralization (and not only in speculation) - you feel the same. How such weird curency (i especially not saying crypto) be a standard ? Better set one of new stable coins for pairs, it will get more positive effect on market !

apparently not, the reason is there are still a lot of altcoins that are better than Ripple and surely there will be intense competition. and it may take a very long time to find the winner.

XRP no doubt is performing well in the present crypto market, but i do not think ut is advisable enough to make it a standard for every other coins. Owing to the fact that it is based on centralization, which is against the rule of cryptocurrency.
Just because it has a large community, does not also mean they should be able to pull it through. If they succeed in this, then some others will also make the same request.

I do not see any single reason for XRP to be pairing with Crypto pairs. And to be honest only USTD, BTC and ETH should be up there. what we will gain from adding another main pair? it will only spread the volume among the standard pairs, which I think is not a really good thing.

I don't think it's a bad decision looking at how the ripple is fighting for the not to go deeper. Instead, it's a great move for an exchange to do it. As what I can see now, ripple can survive any dumps and couldn't be easily taken away in the market.

XRP will always be an ingenious idea alongside other major cryptocurrencies. But asking for a standard, well, there are still many things in the crypto-world yet to be resolved, even though XRP and the ripple tech is making waves, it's simply a bright day under a dark cloud. But more revolutionary projects lined up, there's so much more to be expected from DLT enterprise and should not be so hastily capped. I for one I'm a proponent of MFChain, it's a really good project and former XRP banking integration VP Brian Rankin is advising on the board, so I'm quite bullish about the platform. But I advise, do your own research, read about the project and you'd find that they have some interesting products in the works.

Ripple has showed a big resistance to the crashing market and has helped investors stay above losing their fund to the bearish market. Maybe XRP should be considered by Binance as a base pair not forgetting that XRP is highly centralised and the team has huge amount of it in their custody, let's hope they don't come out and dump some day to pack BTC.

If they can continue to be consistent, I think that's possible. but the opportunity is very small because many altcoins are better than ripples.

I wouldn't imagine XRP being a standard in the future simply because, the main purpose of the of cryptocurrency is to provided decentralization and no regulation from central body or authority, regardless of XRP's recent popularity and market cap accumulation, it has been proven that ripple is actually getting more centralized over time and for the fact that "Ripple Holds Most of The XRP"

Quote
With most digital currencies, the tokens are mined by people or rather miners who validate transactions on the network and are then awarded block rewards. However, Ripple avoided this structure and pre-mined all the XRP, which are about 100 billion in total. The firm kept 60 billion XRP and released the rest to the market. They later pledged to lock away 55 billion XRP and could only release a maximum of 1 billion coins if they needed to finance their projects. However, the company has never come close to that, and the most they have ever released was 300 million XRP. The biggest concern in this strategy is that they could dump all the coins which would negatively affect the XRP price, but that is highly unlikely. - Quora.com

The highlighted bold part states it is unlikely, not impossible! Why would we want such cryptocurrency to be regraded as the standard in the future ? That would mean a total deviation from the cryptocurrency goal.

most likely eth will be difficult to compete with ripples at the end of this year.
I think there is still a big possibility of eth's rise next year as a smart contract platform that is always used by ico. even though I believe ripples have the potential to hold on to second place

Since first. I am really salute on the XRP, Also on the ETH and BTC. but the xrp is most different cryptocurrency for me, that was very easy to transfer and sustained supply. Many money transactions are so expensive and the people used XRP to transact their money. CEO are right.

That would be like the joke of the year to see XRP being used as a base pair on any exchange and to me, it sounds like Changpeng was just trying to make some joke out of how XRP is not worth being called a cryptocurrency in the first place, let alone, have a chance to be considered as something that is worth being placed as a base pair at all.

However, it is the cryptocurrency space and shit happens, so I won't be surprised to see people trying to vouch for a centralized coin in a decentralized space. Time will tell how events will unfold anyway.
