If you see any channel in your telegram and you remember that was not subscribed by you, better remove that channel immediately.
[1]

Today, I was automatically subscribed to a scam channel hence I am writing here, all the people who are all part of many other crypto related telegram channels may get subscribed to any scam like that.

What I experienced just now:

1. I saw a new channel in my telegram (both in mobile and web version). But I am sure I never joined such a group/channel.
2. It's name : Binance customer support English.
3. In a pinned msg they wrote : Binance to launch a new decentralized exchange and they are about to giveaway 20k eth.
4. To claim the giveaway we need to send some eth and they will send 10x of what we will send (big joke actually).
5. I did see many people are posting proof in that channel : Like "sent and waiting" and then posting proof. I worried a lot due to its well designed nature as it may convince many innocent people here. Hence wanted to start this topic.
6. I wrote a msg into that group like : this is a scam attempt, then suddenly I was unsubscribed from that channel. [2]

As per my research; Binance's site has no announcement about DEX. (But I read somewhere they are in plan to launch a DEX).

[1] [2] It seems that joining and leaving a channel/group may happen without our permission in telegram. This sounds telegram is not safer to use similar to skype. (Just my opinion as I not expert in security analysis.)

@mods:
Just to grab attention of more crypto users, I am posting here. Please move this topic to appropriate board. Thanks.

I also noticed on that, but I usually ignored especially when they DM me convincing to invest or
what so ever that having transactions related on crypto.

Thanks to this information, there are still people here that newbies when it comes trading activity and avoids that scam attempts.

By the way, I have a question, how can you avoid auto adding in the telegram group? I mean I don't know why I automatically join the group that I didn't remember that I'm joining.

Many people really do that to convince people in sending them money, the only logical reason to avoid this kind of scam is by doing your own research and not just simply follow what you see on the group or what other people say.

I also find the channel on telegram. But I did not subscribe these type of channel before. but how I was a member don't know. After seeing the giveaway I was confused. And saw some people was posting tnx of etherscan instead of any tnx link where shows they get 20-300 ether to their address from binance_1 and 2. then i start to search the address on etherscan and did not find any tnx like they sent the group. And i was sure that it totally fake. Then i asked them to provide a tnx link. Then after 5 second I was removed from the group. So be careful  about these fake giveaway. And i found few days ago another fake airdrop that was USDC telegram airdrop. More than 70k people joined their airdrop and running a bounty where they sell USDC coin 50% discount. This airdrop also confused me and try to research. Then found on 15 Nov.. It was the payout day. Someone sent screenshot that they paid usdc to their wallet address.  Then search on etherscan by typing one by one. And found that they create a new token Namec USDC which has no value. And sent to the aidrop hunters. After sure then sent a message on the group they removed me from the group. So its a new way to scam people today.be careful about that.thanks
