When we changed the max coins from 100 billion to 50 billion we forgot to change the rewards as well. We are not making the block explorer and pools - that is why were giving out rewards to people for doing so. The only way you can make a coin succeed is by building a community around it - one way of doing that is giving people a stake. If we kept all the bounties to ourself it would prevent a community forming and the coin growing. It is in our best interest to give the bounties out to people not in our team.
