Bitfinex days funding recommendations

I've been the last month funding on Bitfinex as Poloniex. Bitfinex I have more activity as you can fund/lend other coins than BTC. I have a short question:

What is the most recommended days to place on the fund? 5, 7, 2??? and why?

I see many people place 2 days, but I suppose this is to be able to sell or exchange if they want it. I'm a holder so I can do it longer. I guess 7 is a good time so I can change also the rate, but maybe other people have a benefitial recommendation regarding the days you lend.

"No" in that lending at Bitfinex cannot be qualified as safe (what is safe?), and that he isn't guaranteed anything.

With the same perspective and meaning of yours, you should go and take anything that you have in a bank and put them under your bed.
But then again, is it safe there? No...

The question isn't for a philoshopical debate/discussion. So until Bitfinex crashes or declare bankruptcy or get a meteor in their head offices (!) the answer will be "Yes".
Anyone that will put funds for lending on their platform, will get his capital plus the interest that he will put.

Well, I can expand even though the question wasn't asked properly.

So far there haven't been any problems getting your funds through the margin funding system on Bitfinex. So depending on your risk tolerance (do you trust Bitfinex as a custodian to the same degree you trust your bank as a custodian?), then it could be a safe option for you.
