Sorry I had to go for most of today. I'm price averaging to HODL Bitcoin, so I'm buying amounts of £100 or so whilst the price is so volatile. It looks as if the price has gone up a bit, so we could have a look tomorrow if you are interested in £100 blocks.

I've got an account with Nationwide, So if you have a UK current account, I can transfer funds in about a minute, and you should be able to monitor this if you have online banking. There is no charge for this.

So still getting ready to sell some BTC!! I am going to import my BTC to a Blockchain wallet but can anyone tell me what I need to do with the Bitcoin Cash that presumably is in there too? Think I was told before to move it to an Electron wallet. Does that mean that when I move the BTC out the BCH will remain in the paper wallet until I move it too?

EDIT: I see that Blockchain.com now seem to deal with BCH too - can I move both the BTC & BCH to there? They say they have suspended BCH services since last Thursday so presumably I can't move them now?

I need to sort out my claims for forked coins. Maybe I should do it, and blog about the experience. The thing you need to watch is transaction replays, and this is why you need to move coinsinto a different wallet before claiming the forked coins. There are some good threads  about it on the boards here.

How much are you thinking of selling?

Maybe going to sell 2 BTC. Can I just move my BTC from my paper wallet to my Blockchain wallet? Will the BCH disappear during the process or remain in my paper wallet? What are transaction replays? Thanks for your advice. Much appreciated.

Also, could you point me to 'the good threads about moving coins to a different wallet before the claiming the forked coins'?

Sorry I haven't followed up on this. I'm watching the price at the moment.

I'm not sure which way the price is going to break, and I think it may have a bit further to drop over the next couple of days. so I wouldn't want to buy more than £100-£150 of Bitcoin right now.

Binance is still one of the best trading platforms I know of, you can sell your BTC on the binance immediately without not need  KYC but you can only sell 2 BTC in 24 hours for  unverified accounts and for  Veritified Credits account  you can withdraw 100 BTC in 24 hours

I see it has taken another dive, and I think it's time I returned to price averaging.

I can buy £100-£200  of Bitcoin right now. I don't want to buy more, because it still seems to have more downside potential.

It's really some shitshow right now as regards the bitcoin price really, and I honestly am in doubt as to whether I can handle the pressure for much longer
because it still seems to have more downside potential.
Exactly my fears considering I myself am at a huge loss at the moment as my purchase price beats the current price hands down
Not to talk of the shitcoins I currently own,all are really worth as little as nothing right now..

You aren't making a real loss until you sell. I'm buying with a view to holding my coins until after 2020. This means that a price drop represents another chance to buy coins.

Thanks Jet Cash, I managed to get some sold so I won't sell any more just at the minute. Will be keeping a close eye on things and will let you know if I change my mind.
