Its pretty much spring and the issue with heat will be a problem. I live in an apartment with Free Electricity and it has a balcony and I want to take advantage of the balcony by putting my mining rig outside.

The outside temperature will ALWAYS be colder than the inside temperature and also it won't heat my apartment and my wife will be happy that the noise is gone.

Did anybody experiment with an outdoor rig?

Basically it would have to be completely enclosed and sealed to prevent dust and insects from getting inside. It would have to have intake and exhaust fans with an air filter.

It rarely rains in my area so rain isn't an issue. However as a safety percussion a beach style umbrella could be mounted on top.

Any examples? Any ideas out there?

Look into a grow tent for hydroponic closets. Theyre cheap and should do what you need. I am in the process of turning an old grow room into a mining farm and its perfect. Good luck!

While your idea is very enterprising, it could render your equipment useless if tragedy strikes.

Get a small shed, and put it in there.  Thats what I do, and since it is winter, keeps everything super cold, no heat issues at all.
