This is not a new scam way of scammer Smiley). I've seen this kind of scam for months on Twitter and so many guys felt into this trap because they thought it was the legit twitter account of Binance exchange. LOL. There is no easy money in this world, nobody will give you 1 ETH while they only get 0.1 ETH from you. LOL

Same old same old. This should have been effective when there was alot of hype in airdrops and giveaways in late last year and earlier this year for new ones in the space. That one should be posted in those groups with referrals spamming so that it can trigger a network effect and could lure any new ones out there.

I think i've seen this kind of method to scam people and i was the one that witnessed it though i did not fall for their traps. I know it is a scam obviously because they demand to pay first in order for you to get the price. Who's stupid enough to trust that kind of scheme when obviously you can't get anything from them because i did research them first before doing so.

I don't think so far, but we are still wary of scammers. Keep holding and storing and don't be tempted by the big bonus offered by telegram or other media tools, do your research so that you don't get caught up in the trap.

This is nothing new, the same trick trick occurs on many social networks.  The common points of scammers are always to make an invitation, an attractive reward and ask you to send money to a certain address. You will encounter the most fraudulent cases on the Telegram, in the form of pretending to be celebrities, the big trading floor as Binance

Simple, ,
Do not send any amount of crypto especially ethereum just like in the first post from this thread if you don't want to invest in any project my friend,,,
Yes its so simple yet many newbies are still fall on this trap, this is not a new way to scam its old style but still many investors are losing money from this scam scheme. We should learn more about cryptocurrency before we put money into this market. A lot of greedy people that wants to make easy money are in this market, and we don't know the exact strategy they are using because its improving every single day.

Don't put any money into things that you are not sure, don't look for an easy money try to work harder and you will earn more profit that you deserve. Save yourself from the scammers, don't entertain any suspicious activities coming from an unknown sender.

All these messages should be perceived as a joke, you can already get used to it, especially when this is happening, the number of scammers increases. So far this is a very acute problem, with no visible solution.

Yeah this style of scaming is somehow already old and wont work anymore except for those still newbie in cryptocurrency. But still thanks for the warning post for newbies to be aware.
With the way they ask for eth is somehow too demanding and too overprice also, unlike the one I saw using the google airdrop form which mostly stating; “Please send 0.01 eth to this address and received a * quantity of token afterwards or a selfrdrop in term but in the end they are just shitcoins.

Scammers always use the greed of people as bait to fool trusting people. It is not necessary to pay attention to calls to send a small amount of cryptocurrency to a certain address, in order to get more profit. This is almost always a hoax. Also, one should not sometimes react to such statements on behalf of the ICO teams, and if it does indeed come from the ICO teams, one should leave such an ICO, since it is almost certainly fraud.

Thanks to the author of the post for useful information, but this method has long been known to many people. unfortunately now is the time that many scammers take the interest of inexperienced investors and involve them in all sorts of traps. many will be useful your article. if you come across some kind of fraud method then write about it on the forum, it will be useful for many people

It is common for scammers to ask for funds in exchange for something nonexistent or worthless. This has been going around on twitter and in a few places in this forum, be vigilant

The thing I don't understand why people fall for things like this, do they think Crypto is a father Christmas land. Why would someone be giving out free $120 to people even Vitalik is not doing so. I think people get scammed because they are greedy and looking for free money but forget that there is nothing free out there, someone must pay the price

We should think first before doing their request. Why such team will give us 1 ETH in exchange for 0.1 ETH? and you will give them first your 0.1 ETH. This is a simple strategy but many had been a victim with this scammers.

It is weird, nobody in crypto community believes in this shit. It used to work in early january when there was a hype around crypto and everybody tried to cheat this way.
Moreover it has just appeared and people haven't meet it before.

No, you were wrong.
I found a lot of people got scammed before on twitter especially, and they did exactly same just like what OP posted above. Even some of them were trying to impersonate Elon Musk using a verified Twitter account to make it looks real.
People will fall for this trick if they are in desperate need of money

Even this scheme is very old some people still fall victims over this. People should be educated regarding these scams nowadays, I think some people are reckless sometimes maybe due to they lack research or informations even the veterans still can become a victim if the scam schemes are well crafted. So the best advice is to investigate and stay vigilant.

It's too simple. So, I think people will know it's a scam when they see someone asking for their money to be sent to that person. I'm sure no one was fooled by such a childish game.
