I have found, proof that calls in view the quality of the chips they are using for the desk units.

this shows that one core on the 7th chip of the 5th module only has 31 working cores on it that should be 32 like all the other ones.
anyone else see this?

Yes and this is normal
You can see a chip with 28 or 29 cores.
So what ?
It is not unusual to have chips with dead cores in almost every type of ASIC chips delivered these days

i did not make my self clear.
the issue is that there is only one missing and they hit 1th/s at 1060watts. so my point is they have about no wiggle room  on the boards for dead cores. meaning they will have a lot unusable chips that would leave the device under the stated speed or over on power usage.

No, the last board is an old board with 1st batch chips. The other 4 other boards are new boards with 2nd batch chips. That is the reason for the GH/s loss.

1 core = 0.87GH/s. I only wish they were 29GHs per core! Tongue

It'll have about 115Gh/s of wiggle room so don't worry you won't miss a few cores.

Just read the official Bitmine thread it's in there somewhere, plus I've got 1st batch A1 chips from Marto's pre-production Hex8A1 boards.

They only work in Turbo 850mV or higher and only produce Normal 25GH/s at that voltage. They were too hot/too power hungry for Bitmines product.

I suspect they got rid of them through DIY and had the chips remade. That's what caused the delays.
