this is a big defeat for investors and hedge funds. for me crypto was created to minimize the relevance of other parties in investment and this allows you to make your own updates on the market without the need for a central bank, hedge fund or anything else. crypto is simpler and benefits only for you without being shared with others. do an analysis and observe further market trends for your investment decisions for the long term

actually even if the market situation cannot support anyone who invests in crypto it will experience a loss, and that also depends on how strong they are HOLD the asset, if the recovery then rises again, of course he will profit. Hedge funds managers who simply use investors money to live the grand expensive lifestyle. I'd rather manage my investments myself and know the amount of risk I should expose my money to. These guys just take insane risks all the time and investors end being on the receiving end

Exactly ,and if you like the way that they manage their funds, you can just copy them like anyone else. There is no restriction for that. In fact, i think that it is much more better to manage it by yourself to avoid ridiculous risks that can be dangerous for your money.

I've never really understood the point of hedge funds. Their essence is supposedly mitigating market risk. They engage in this by taking bleedin' insane risks with customer money. The best hedge fund of all is your boring old savings account.

The original intent of hedge funds was indeed to hedge risk. The first hedge fund (launched in 1949) was centered around short selling to minimize the risk in holding long term stock positions.

Today, if you Google "hedge fund" this is the definition:

a limited partnership of investors that uses high risk methods, such as investing with borrowed money, in hopes of realizing large capital gains

As for promotions from the Currencies, not so long ago I noticed the interesting banner on CCN. It led to the Coinsuper announcement about the trading contest with the prizes. I know for the 100%, that telegram crowded with the fake contests and etc. But about this one? If it has the official announcement on the exchange, could I believe in it?

I think the next way, even If I cannot win the main prize, I can earn a few X's.

This is why i don't like trust funds at all even most of it are successfully manage and known by most of the investor but it does not affect my view of hedge funds. Even hedge funds malfunction rather the leadership of the manager it will really destroy the funds because money shines. Once the manager screwed up, the funds is on critical condition especially when it comes to financial problem.

We cannot blame only whales for such a blood bath in crypto markets. But I agree that whales trigger and then all of us are following them. Why not we just learn from these whales, I mean why not we also make use of this downfall by buying for making some big profits. Not just whales, we are also able to control this market in some levels if we unite ourselves.

Continuously buying will help anyone to average their buying price levels as no one will be able to buy at exact lower price levels. I have seen many veteran people here are suggesting always to keep buying whenever we do find considerably lower price levels. I must say this also one of the biggest buying opportunity for all of us. We must keep buying at every blood bath so that we can technically beat those whales.

By considering few technical analysis, I am confident about bottom has already arrived for the time being hence we no need to worry more but we must take action for making use of these wonderful buying opportunity to ensure some big profits in coming months.

Their are still good hedge fund manager who's profession is squarely base of managing investors fund with utmost care. Some hedge fund managers are just greedy individuals who are just after the money from investors while some invest their investors money on real estate, also, some disappear with investors money into thin air.

This is how bear markets work pretty much. There is relentless selling and panic. Every day everyone keeps thinking "this is the low" and the following day it ends up going lower.

Eventually it reaches the point where 90% of people sold at a huge loss and took money out of the market. The other 5% bought in and are sitting at losses since the market kept going down and are scared to add to their losses and the other 5% is basically buying while others are panicking.

Take the stock market for example, look how much money you could of made just buying a blue chip stock like AAPL back in 2008 recession.

This is with the stock splits already in effect. It peaked at $29 in 2007 and during the recession it hit a low of $11. Then less than a year later it broke that ATH and you could of net 300% profit with a company like AAPL which is a no-brainer to succeed.

AMZN was pretty much similiar, it went from like $100 to $33 and then broke $100 less than a year later.

Now everybody is thinking, why didn't I buy it? Because in hindsight it seems like a good idea however during the bear-markets we are seeing it clouds our judgement and we stay out incase of taking a small position with low risk.

We are currently experiencing dip where blood is everywhere in the market. We can't do anything about it but to hold, wait and buy more if we really want to earn a good profit in the future. It is still important to have more patience during this time.
