I have read many articles and blogs about altcoins mining and one thing that I have see as a problem in minining is electricity cost.  I also hard how you can mine electroneum using your phone but when I calculated the profits I see that it did not worth it.  Now that most coins are down and we must used electricity for minining, I will like to ask if minining is still profitable? And as a miner what are your doing now to make good profits from cryptocurrencies minining?

Electroneum is not worth mining on the phone. It is useless. There are asics that can mine it and even with them it is not worth it.
Mining is profitable if you dont pay for electricity ot you pay next to nothing. In short somebody can mine profitable even in these bad markets.

I'm afraid that with the current market in downtrend, altcoin mining is not really profitable. Even with cheap electricity, if you use GPU, you can earn very small amounts. The only exception is maybe if you can employ ASICs and mine the alts minable by ASICs. Not all of them are profitable, but with cheap electricity you can find a couple of coins that can bring you some profit. Check your options at https://whattomine.com/asic

But I don't have cheap electricity and that is why I also see it as not profitable now. This time last year miners were really making money because of the market behavior. I believe that another thing will happen in future that will make mining profitable.
I will check the website and see if it is possible for me to find any coins to mine with my office electracity. Thank you also for making some recommendations.

The electroneum phone mining isn't actually mining.  Its "simulated mining."  It doesn't use any extra battery or electricity so feel free to use the app.  The rewards aren't that great, but I suppose if you let it run and forgot about it for a year you would probably have something of value.

Its really not worth the hassle these days to mine. Even if you got power at 10cents a kilowatt, which is considered average you will end up almost breaking even. And you need to consider the cost of the GPUs, PSUs, mobo, and any failures along the way.

Most these days put their rigs on hold and are basically waiting for the $1/day/gpu before they turn on their rigs. Not worth mining to make $0.05/day/gpu which is the current profitability at the moment.

If you believe in crypto, just save yourself the headache and just buy the coins directly.
