So you mean the best way to invest is in cryptocurrency? In my own opinion, all of these assets could possibly crash anytime but for me a decentralized assets will makes sense maybe because the only one who control it is the community not the governments or central banks. In cryptocurrency, we are in full control of our funds and the market also is volatile which we are aware of before getting into it. Therefore, crypto is the best choice to counter crisis or crash.

I agree with you, probably it is a good thing to have a different portfolio holdings so it would not hurt that much when other crypto will fall. For sure, others will going to raise up in terms of its market price. Just be patience also for now because market is in bad situation.

Nothing is 100% safe, but there are things that are considered as investment, and these ones has high level of risk involved. The only thing there is never to rely on just one but diversify and keep your money in different assets/stocks, banks etc. Why I’m saying this is so that when one fails, you will still have the others to rely on and wait for that one to recover. So nothing is safe.

Ofcourse all things changes like whats happening when worst comes to worst. But all you said is just "possible" but takes a lot of time and crisis to happen. If you dont take risk then how can you live the fullest with the target date you have. I dont think the word "invest what you can afford to lose" isnt right. You have not mentioned investments in bitcoins. If you had invested in bitcoins the result could have been different. Consider those who invest in 2016 and they easily got 3x to 4x in 2018. No other investments can give you such high returns as bitcoins can give it to you. Its just a matter of investing at a right time. Many people invest at the peak and then complain as it is obvious you should buy the dip and not the peak.

Yes, everything in life has risk as someone says, but if you're not willing to take it then your life will be somewhat boring, which for me is not what life should be. It's full of challenges, that's why most of the times we envy rich people. But we didn't understand that early on they take the risk. I think that idea comes from the fact that every move one makes, whether in the language of business or just in the plain sense of decision making has a ripple effect to the next thing that could have or might happen. That's why, I agree, when you say that everything can be treated as an investment. You do something that would prepare you to the future and that thing that you will do know will either have a profound or indirect effect with what would happen in the future. In that sense, one needs to actually plan out today, so that there would be a better outcome tomorrow, just like any other investment.
