Actually although this predict sound too optimistic for me, it can easily happen. If BTC can go from $6500 on this date in 2017 to almost $20k by end of December why can’t it go from today’s sagging price of $6300 to over $20K over the next 6–8 weeks?

When somebody is predicting a price of some cryptocurrency in the future, they are not predicting it - they are fully speculating. There is no way in the crypto sphere that people with the same information sources that regular people have access to, can make a valid prediction ahead in the future. It's just not possible!

Think how much money would they make in leverage trading if they have a solid way to predict the price of BTC, they would be multimillionaires within a days time.

When dealing with cryptos you have to know that there is always a possibility for a great fall and also an opportunity for "out of this world" growth.  But you should take all of the predictions with a great sense of skepticism.

It was not possible for ethereum to rise to that price since the beginning of the year and now that it is at its lowest point of the year it is even more impossible than before, people need to stop doping this to themselves, the price is not going to skyrocket this year, forget about it and concentrate in the positive, you have more time to get more coins and make more money that way.

It depends on the powers of this world. At the same manufacturers of mining equipment, now the situation is deplorable, to such an extent that the equipment in China is sold by weight. They can turn the market in the right direction, that you raise again the demand for your equipment.

unless there are chances that the btc will go above 20% within a day, otherwise i doubt that if that would really happen. plus the recent probably hard split harmed a lot to the price.

Obviously, this probably won't be a possible scenario in the current year and if it does then it's just a manipulator move and similar thing can and will repeat like January 2018, the market will just plunge. So, it is better to expect the market to rebound slowly and practically with as you said rise of mass interest upon cryptocurrencies.

It could but the landscape is different now and repeating old ground is actually harder then making new highs.    So 2017 the dollar was falling which is a big difference, 2018 its risen most of the time with higher interest rates expected.

Only just in recent days have we seen the FED say they may not keep raising rates at the same pace as previously.  Thats been reflected in stock prices and possibly its given crypto some relief from this harder money atmosphere.   Overall I think BTC balances out rather then assumes a high climb rate again, it can be positive but I dont imagine the same buying frenzy as last year.   Thats probably healthy and the best thing long term

As per market condition it is bit tough to reach the value but  I think there are some experts reviewed and updated that price will goes to 15K there so am not sure how it will go. Most of the people lost the money in panic situation due to lower prices of BTC.

It was hard enough to target 15k when we're running steady at 6.5k. I think even if we have a bull run at this point it'll be hardpressed to push the price even close to that amount. I'd be happy if we can get to 7 to 8k range before the year ends.

I agree with this, some people make predictions for the price that are incredible and I could think that if they did that they will show a very detailed analysis about why they think this is going to happen and most of the time the opposite is the truth, they do not show anything to back up their claims so those predictions do not have any kind of weight to me.

Agree, it takes a long time to see bitcoin price to increase at 15k. The current price is hardly to move up since it may decline or continues to increase this time. Their had been many manipulations in the market so I dont think it will goes 15k end of this year.

Well, this was better to read than FUD causing panic to others. If this was true, then it's good but this is just prediction, it's not guaranteed to happen because the one who said it, is expert. Anything could happen but to be honest it was hard to believe such rise will happen this month. So much of plot twist if ever.

The only solution for that to see again bitcoin reach to 15k dollars is UNITY because the cause of the dumping the value is because of the panic seller. But if we buy again bitcoin and start promoting, and have positive vibes and feedback to bitcoin.
