Nah, I don't think that $10,000 is doable at the end of the year. There are no news that will trigger a bull run so its better to adjust and be flexible because the market situation is very volatile. Some see the market as pulling a dead-cat-bounce in the last 72 hours and now the same pattern is repeating again.

As for the Van Eck/Solid X proposal well everyone is really hoping for a approval but it's still up to the SEC to make that final decision. Majority believes is inevitable but I don't see it happening this December. Most likely it will be speculated that 2019 will be the year so let's see how it goes.

the current price is not going to move with some dude being positive or negative about bitcoin! no matter who that dude is, specially if it is SEC chairman which people stopped giving a shit about since they have already rejected A LOT of ETFs so far.
right now only if the manipulators run out of money and reach their desired accumulation targets we can see the reversal or if we see the price drop to a point where they can no longer do anything because of the reverse buying power. anything else is just small forces that won't change much.

Even if all of the potential ETFs are approved I don't think we'll see such a big price hike. Fear does not dissipate from a market overnight, it normally takes longer for a market to recover than it did to crash which means we've got a couple of slow years ahead.

Nasdaq plus Nyse plus Bakkt all will have a bitcoin ETF that they will be working together.

January will be the month that we see bitcoin getting more investors from outside world. Normally we should not be really excited for something like ETF because that is not money directly going into bitcoin but more like betting on bitcoin price however we have been going through one of the worst bear markets ever in bitcoin history (only rivaled by the famous 2014 one) and anything that helps shine a good light on bitcoin will be really accepted as a whole during this time.

If I was asked about the same question a year ago I would say lets not get any ETF soon but when asked now I am welcoming ETF as something we have been really needing. Hence I think it is great that all three of them are opening their investment options to bitcoin.

Do not expect the SEC. The problem of managing a huge system in the crypto market is a dilemma. If it is simple, the government has sent an anti-corruption and fraud group to protect us. SEC will not be able to help us.

SEC involved in this moment really will not have a good result for us. They will keep the price of bitcoin stable for as long as $ 4k. that is a bad thing. They will not help us with so many things. We need an unstable market to be able to speculate more effectively.

I am also positive about the ETF approval but that doesn't mean or a catalyst for the bull run. I think we should wait for the ETF to be finally approved and see how much adoption it could bring, but for now, it's still 2018 and Feb 2019 is far away so you have time fill your bags.
