Fiat currencies like the US dollar is being used in gambling in general also, does it make it bad due to that specific reason? Not really. Also, most if not all technologies pretty much almost always has a bad side to it. - Cars are used for better transporation but can be used as getaway vehicles for criminals
- The internet is used for various great things like storing/retrieving of information, etc, whereas it can also be used to commit crime(theft, identification theft, etc)
- Cellphones(especially the older, keypad ones), are made for better communication, whereas it also can be used to wirelessly detonate bombs
And many many more. So, for all these negative downsides of these technologies, does it really make them "bad"? I don't think so. The good things they can do heavily outweighs the bad things. |

All of the things you have listed are subjective. Many people do not have any issues with such things and they are legal in a large majority of countries. Blockchain is used in those industries to offer a cheaper and fairer alternative to traditional alternatives. Similarly to how it is used in logistics, finance etc. |

The aforementioned vices(according to you),have all being in existence long before the bitcoin nor it's underlying technology(the blockchain technology),ever was borne... And it's fairly legal in most countries. This definitely is not a bad side to the bitcoin as financial instruments have been used to fulfill the aforementioned even before the bitcoin.. |

Gambling is part of the adoption that we aim for. If we are to make this massive we aim for all people including the gamblers who enjoys much online gambling. Same thing were developers are trying to come up with good dapps for merchants and users. I'd like to think all is good because they are part of the ecosystem.

I kind of disagree with this. Long before bitcoin and blockchain were invented, people are already using fiat to gamble and bet in casinos. It is just that now people have alternative means to used to gamble and bet in the form of bitcoins. Besides, it is not like those who use these technology are using it to terrorize people and commit other crimes, right?

the most usage of blockchain technology is in creating cryptocurrencies. and cryptocurrencies are mostly used for speculation or in other words for trading on exchanges.
in comparison usage of cryptocurrencies in gambling is a very small percentage.

What 'uses' of the blockchain tech would you relate to being bad? Those that you have enumerated weren't even powered by blockchain to begin with, and most usage of blockchains today are still confined on cryptocurrencies and running it. Banks aren't even deploying their own versions of the blockchain and are only on their development phases, so it's pretty hard to know what's 'good' and 'bad' usage of the blockchain is right now.
Oh and also, the gambling industry is also a billion-dollar industry, and it create jobs for people too. I'm not saying that it is good all in all but there's still some credit to be given on the said industry.

Many crypto coins are using blockchain technology in gambling fields and there are many coins which used blockchain tech for bad (i dont want to mention the coin names )only few coins like ripple are using blockchain tech for good fields like banking only few good uses

There is always a bad and a good side of anything and it only depends on how are you looking at it. Block chain technology is based on decentralised system which provides better security than the standard banking system. Of course, anyone can find a bad use of it and decentralisation brings anonymity which brings manipulation and of course money laundering that everyone is talking about. But this is present in any industry and the bad sides of block chain are pointed out at this moment simply because its popularity and the influence. Once it becomes welcomed by the masses and spread in more industries, the focus will be more on its good sides and the possibilities to reduce the negative sides.

Everything you listed here are things that have been carried out in a massive scale even before the advent of bitcoin. The entire hard drugs in history has been estimated to worth more than the entire crypto market capitalization at some point and that was when bitcoin or blockchain have not gain ground at all. The point is every development would always be exploited for good and bad because individuals are involved. Its now the responsibility of the law enforcement agencies to ensure that activities against the wellbeing of the state are not carried out through such means. |

I bet it's being used for vicious reasons such as gambling and crimes in a way smaller percentage than it is used for other legit, safe and 'positive' purposes. Furthermore, it's still in its infancy. Anyone who has the basic knowledge level of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies has at least half an year to an year or even more of using it. On the other side though, it's used by many huge corporations as a payment system (BTC on the Microsoft Store as an example) or for the technology (CitiBank) which gives people a very good and plausible reason to trust them. The volatility is a completely different subject though, which makes BTC an extremely high risk investment, creating this "unsafe" kind of thought inside many people's brains. Volatility is one of the most interesting parts of this technology though.
