I am quite surprised this thread has been going on for 4 pages now, while it should have been redirected to the "Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny" thread immediately.

You are right but in my opinion may be the thread is allowed to go on because of it relevance to educating newbies who really don't have knowledge of bitcointalk as a forum, e.g it purpose and origin and may be thinking since it a big forum for bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency discussion it should develop a new token not knowing that bitcointalk  was primarily developed to serve as a discussion room for the development and promotions of bitcoin as a network all other altcoins discussions are just secondary.

There already is one that was created a long time ago but it didn't end well, just another shitcoin wasting away. If done properly under the guidance of theymos it could have been a high cmc listed coin

What do you think guys ? should  bitcointalk make their own bitcointalk coin? would it be possibile? and give it for all member ? thanks for all your answer!

Wait, kinda confuse..I always thought bitcointalk was created during bitcoin development so technically bitcoin is official coin of bitcointalk so why the need of creating bitcointalk token/coin when we already have one?!

Reality is the only thing that is real.

You're right.
Bitcointalk is not backed or fueled by any token or coin.
Yes, it is part of the bitcoin development and was launched to grow and create a community of people interested in bitcoin's development.

OP is suggesting a coin with practical uses o. This platform, or maybe integrate bitcoins into the system,  well considering that BTC is used to pay for evil IP, buy copper membership, make donations if is in a way the tokens coin.

I still don't want to even consider this type of token. Aside from the fact that it is useless it is just a waste of time

Dev instead should focus on more crucial matters such as eliminating bots completely out from the community. I mean budgets should go to the security of this forum. Since it has happen already a couple of times that there were data breaches

hmmm..not a good idea. There will be too much issues and complication. Bitcointalk is one of the oldest and biggest online forum in the web and no one owns this. There will be war between pioneer and old members here as to who will manage the "business" and members (from newbies to heroes/legendary)  will be much demanding since there will be fees and they know admin and moderator are earning from activities here so it will be totally fiasco.

And do you think, members here will just let Theymos or any member here handle the business knowing it can (and absolutely will) earn substantial income? Nope. So it's a bad idea. As you know, things are different when money involve.

Reality is the only thing that is real.
