Hi all,

Recently I bought the following hardware to build a mining rig:

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-D3H Retail
Processor: AMD A6-5400K FM2 Black Box
Memory: Crucial 4GBx1
GPUs: 4 x Sapphire 7950 with Boost.

*One of the GPUs worked as usual on another mining rig.

The problem is as follows:
With all 4 GPUs connected with risers, the rig boots to post screen, OS loads and shows all 4 GPUs as "Standard VGA Adapter". OK, now I proceed and install
Catalyst drivers (tried a few versions including new betas) - AND THEN afterwards when the OS should be back to desktop after a reboot I get black screen with no response.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

You should test to connect the monitor on to the motherboard video-out and then to each videocard until you get display. Or go to the BIOS and explicitely select the primary video.

1. Primary video?
Isn't the motherboard smart enough to recognize by itself that the primary card is now the Radeon and not the onboard?
Because we do see the post screen.

2. After I get the black screen, I try to connect the DVI cable to other cards but nothing happens. BTW black screen but I didn't mean "sleep mode".
