I think the reason to buy when the price of Bitcoin reduced is the hoping of the investors that the price of BTC will be rising up to make profit. So that they willing to buy a lot of bitcoin and hold for the long-term to hope the bull-run of the market will occur.

This is one of the opportunities to have bitcoin at a low price because of its downward position. It is speculation, but the bitcoin curve is like a reflection, after going down it definitely goes up.

Actually I wouldn't easy to say that falling prices are the right time to buy. Yeah the price is indeed lower than the previous day. But who knows? Prices may be lower in the next day, right? I agree with you if we use long term investment in the bitcoin because we know bitcoin is king of cryptocurrencies, the price of bitcoin will rise up again soon or later, but if we trade for short term investment (trading cryptocurrencies) i think the alternatives coins is good chance to getting money in volatility of cryptocurrencies price. So actually everything depends on the strategy of investment in cryptocurrencies space short or long term investment.
