This is good news from the authorities. I want to see it as a good development especially in the light of the much talked about and expected ETF. Let me have your take on this news:

The SEC stated that they need to be sure the markets are not manipulated. If this can ever happen then it will only happen when there are more exchanges like Baakt that are run by large institutions. We may not see an ETF for years. However, do not fret, Baakt and like exchanges that hopefully will pop up in the US and other developed nations will bring BTC prices up.

When is a new ETF decision being planned?

I think that ETF practically does not affect the fall or growth of the cryptocurrency market. But whales can use this news for their manipulations.

This is a good development and that means big institutions are going to invest in cryptocurrencies market.  However ETF approval may not happen this year as the sec is saying there are afraid price might be manipulated.  Remember that Cryptocoins market is decentralized and that means it is transparent and that is what the enthusiast are standing on.  If ETF is approve bitcoin is going to surge in price as ETF is the major reason why people keep dumping bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies.
Another views I have is that bitcoin should not been treated as stocks or commodities!  If we allowed bitcoin to be regulated by sec we are trying to centralized it.  This will also affect the values of bitcoin as money.

Let's give it up and don't expect this ETF will roll out as soon as possible, it will take time.

They are on agreeing already with the bitcoin etf but there is a clause from it. Unless the market manipulation stop. How would this be possible? I think their saying is they will not agree to it cause its impossible to avoid manipulation in a decentralized spaced of crypto. There are whales always on the go for this.

Probably. SEC wants to remove manipulations on the market before approving etf. I think its sound like not getting approved at all. If they really care and pushing for the approval why the hell put some pressure on removing this act? Everybody loves being decentralized, I know manipulations is bad but if being governed by someone who will command out of all. Bettet etf not be approved at all.

With a sudden price drop of 50% in a matter of weeks it is safe to say that there is not going to be an etf anytime soon. Could of happened if there wasn't a price war with shitcoin cash

no it could not have happened even if there was no BCash war and even if price never dropped there still wouldn't have been any ETFs.
SEC is not rejecting ETF only because of price volatility. they are rejecting it because of lack of regulation and the fact that they can not control anything about bitcoin or its market. and they hate decentralization because it will remove them from the world and make SEC obsolete.

We don't know what's on their mind but I have watched the interview of JC.

And my opinion to it is they are probably looking to it but they want to protect the investors. As you've said, one major problem that they can see is manipulation but we don't know what lies on their mind, they might approve it or not but better to expect nothing with it anymore.

Very good news, I have been expecting the ETF to come soon, but the SEC continues to postpone the ETF review time, I am worried about this, if the ETF fails again, then the bull market may not come again!
