it is normal in the sale or price of bitcoin to go up and down as any time it goes up and down it gives different opportunities for people to come into the bitcoin business in terms of purchasing bitcoin and anytime it increases in price it gives investors a reason to cash out and make much more money.

Exactly, according to some people Bitcoin has died a countless times so far. That is why all this threads about Bitcoin being dead are actually going on my nervs.
This is not the ideal situation, the price is low, it's possible that it will go even lower. But that is how Bitcoin is functioning, it's the essence of volatility and that also means that price can't go up all the time. But that still doesn't mean that Bitcoin will vanish from the scene.
But it looks these days like only few will have enough patience to wait for price to recover.

Not really care it called die or what, i join bitcoin when it is on cheap price although not like when it first launched and price now still better than it. As long we can get profit from bitcoin it is worth to keep support it.
I agree with you I support bitcoin no matter what happen in the value, I think the value now is better than from the first launched. Bitcoin now is in dip but it is top value than other coins and I will continues support in bitcoin.

In investing it is normal the price value go up and down not only and investing in all kinds of businesses it happen like that. Joining bitcoin is big opportunity for me cause I earn to much in my investment. When the value goes down I bought bitcoin and hold it and when time comes increasing I sell it, this oppurtunity bitcoin given to me its great cause I earn more profit.

Bitcoin did not die and will not die. At least, not in the nearest future. The usefulness of bitcoin is not just in its worth as a store of value but also as a medium of exchange. It is worth much more than its daily fluctuations in value.
Yeah I agree with your opinion mate. Bitcoin won't die instead multiply as adoption is quiet increasing nowadays by merchants, businesses, countries anywhere in the world. When we say "die" meaning there is no signs of life in that particular coin it's value and volatility will not tell us about it's status when it become a dead coin as long as people keep on holding, using and trading Bitcoin then it is alive and could someone give me reasons why Bitcoin will die and when?

You really can't say it is dead just because the price went down a little or the price went down really hard. If you're gonna ask me, I think the basis for saying that a coin is dead are things like people have no interest in the coin anymore, no one is investing in it, and the price is stable in a negative way.

A certain disillusionment is affecting the crypto-active markets, while Bitcoin prices are flirting dangerously around $4,000. Since the record set in December 2017, its value has fallen by 78%, causing the American economist Nouriel Roubini, Bitcoin's well-known opponent, to say that "the mother of all bubbles has now burst". To say that he is going through a difficult period is a euphemism: it is no secret that a crypto winter has been installed. Nevertheless, Bitcoin's history has shown that every time he was promised death, it emerged stronger.

In traditional finance, a crash is generally defined as a fall of at least 10% in a single session. For Bitcoin, the volatility is such that it is not interesting to count them as it is customary to observe such variations. It is preferable to focus on correction periods, named after these more or less sudden downward movements, stopping a general upward trend, affecting assets that are probably overvalued. They may lack fundamental reasons or simply obey a profit-taking by investors. Here are all those that have exceeded 30%.

The worst correction observed occurred between November 2013 and January 2015, causing Bitcoin to lose 87% of its value in 411 days. This collapse is similar to the one currently underway, but 2014 was also marked by the bankruptcy of MtGox, at the time the world's leading trading platform (nearly 80% of flows). Many users had lost access to their Bitcoins, throwing a great wave of pessimism into the area. Nothing to do with 2018, as favorable news from Wall Street is accumulating.

The question now is how far will the 2018 correction go? Can it go to zero?

In the case of a company, even if it is bankrupt, the value of its walls or machinery prevents it from reaching this threshold. For Bitcoin, you have to ask yourself what its core value is.  What value can this have in Europe? Almost nothing, given that our banking system works relatively well. But the question must be asked differently in other parts of the world, such as Venezuela, where Bitcoin is increasingly being used to escape hyperinflation in the bolivar (the IMF expects +1,000,000% over the year). In Caracas, it is perceived as a store of value and a way out of an authoritarian state.

Bitcoin's weakness lies in the effectiveness of its protocol, which allows you to send value online without the need of a trusted third party. The level of his course is ultimately of enormous importance.

Hear hear! But don't get too complacent about Europe and your banking system - they keep the QE going and sooner than later you'll be reevaluating Bitcoin's core value for Europe.

What does "die" means for bitcoin? I always see this kind of thread. I am not sure if they are just spreading FUD, for their own interests or whatsoever reasons. Is the death of bitcoin means going zero or no value at all or death means also decreasing its value to the most unbelievable downtrend? As for me, means no life at all or zero. If bitcoin goes to zero and people just neglect bitcoin this is the time that bitcoin really dies. Sonetimes i dont like to read the whole content of an article, its just creating confussion on me.

HOpefully bitcoin will not going put to its end. For all I know that other countries are already accepted it and regulated. However, there are big and developed countries that are not because its ideology is opposite to their ideology so it will not going to work well especially in the USA where the US government had implemented some strict regulations of their citizen on joining cryptocurrency.

If we knew how banks work, we would have stopped using them long ago. As for bitcoin, it has undergone many changes over the past year. About all can be read in the official sources. In addition, a lot has been done to further bitcoin was as a full asset for all citizens. More and more developments are in favor of institutional investors. In addition, the traditional market is not in the best condition. It is possible that another crisis is coming. Given all this, bitcoin has a very good future.

Now Bitcoin is getting more difficult to return to ATH than ever before, because in the past Bitcoin was only popular among a small group of people, and the bull market in 2017 undoubtedly made more people attention Bitcoin, but Bitcoin’s decline of more than 80% in 2108, I bet that many potential investors have been scared away.

Bitcoin has definitely more lives than a cat... these economy doctor guys can say what they want... it is only natural that they are defending their dollar printing machines...
The fact is that even after such a correction BTC stilll holds almost 3x the value it had before the last bull run... and everyone in economy knows these things go in cycles... so mr. Roubini... go preach somewhere else...  Grin

For some people, bitcoin is a tool that will not lose its price, bitcoin already has a market and many people in this world have bitcoin and trade in it. Surely, this is a reason that bitcoin will always have a price, regardless of the price decline. And also, technology is always evolving, there will be new things to develop the technology so they believe bitcoin will continue to be valued.

No, it's just imposible. As long as there is demand (as long as people use Bitcoin), it will not depreciate.

The market for cryptocurrencies is very low, and many people think that the market for cryptocurrencies will fall further in 2019!
I hope that the blockchain can be applied to more practical scenarios in 2019, so as to drive up the price of cryptocurrency!
