Unfortunately, there is no solution against these fake ICOs except to stop investing in ICOs. I do not have the right numbers in my head right now, but studies have shown that well over 50% of ICOs are scams. These numbers are scary. There are several points to look for in an ICO. 1. Is the team known behind the ICO? 2. How is the white paper structured, a detailed reading is very useful 3. How transparent is the project? For example, was the program code published on Reddit? Does the project already have a large community? 4. How realistic is the roadmap? can the times be kept realistically? what does the project intend to do?
