They have been around for a several years and yet 9 months later still do not have international USD swift/wire withdrawal for non-us residents. Meanwhile in less time Bitfinex have added a few providers, Bittrex has come on line with their USD/Fiat offering and Binance is working on theirs.
What the hell is Kraken and their 'banking relationship team' doing apart from sitting around? Are they even trying and visiting banks in other countries or just sipping coffee and patting each other on the back.
Does not take this long to get this fixed especially on kraken's scale...

Not sure. Perhaps when they had problems with their previous USD processor which must've been about a year or so ago now. There've always been better USD options than Kraken. It would never occur to me to use them for that even if limits were more realistic. Do you have USD stuck in there? |

Yeah and been waiting for them to get international USD funding so can withdraw bit by bit as and when I need to.
I pulled that out of my arse, but I seem to remember that's around when Kraken became particularly useless for USD. If I were you I'd forget about it, buy some crypto and find somewhere else to turn it into USD. |

I haven't been stung by Bitstamp. I read enough tales of people being told to send photos of their cock, balls and anus before having their money released to not wish to deal with them any more. Anywhere that decides you're not verified any more after being verified can suck my chop sock. I definitely wouldn't do Bitfinex either for fiat. It's fine for crypto but the banking side seems far too hit and miss for my liking. There aren't too many other options I can think of. If I had USD and I was not in the USA I'd turn it into something else. What do you want to end up with? Do you want to stay in USD? |

Coinbase doesn't allow fiat withdrawal where I'm concerned. Kraken allows USD for high spend/withdraw 50k min tier 4 OR domestic US person. Bitstamp further stupid verification and proofs once you try to withdraw is scary since it might be near impossible with crypto to prove everything they want. You already verified to have account and then withdrawing to yourself so why go through them questioning you about your money and then trying to prove show tracking its yours with crypto investments, trades, numerous exchanges, untraceable coins and so on. |

High limit USD funding via Kraken is only available to US individuals and corporations or vetted international corporations. Not international individuals.

Going into a year now and EVERY exchange has expanded their offerings and allow for International USD including bitstamp, gemini, coinbase, bitfinex, bittrex, binance and just recently CEX.
What the hell is Kraken doing for almost a year that it is unable to do the same? (offers it for US residents or tier 4 50k US person/business or International business)
