Looking at the poll results its basically a tie between "To make money" and "Its how I spend my free time".

However I have a feeling that those that chose "To make money" they actually end up losing money and those that "its how I spend my free time" are the casual gambling winners.

My guess is that its due to emotions. The ones that do it purely to become rich, they become emotional and end up losing everything. While the ones who gamble from time to time with their friends at the casino, they do it for fun and the main objective isn't to make a profit. So they can actually win something from time to time.

You know, a lot of people here are saying that setting a limit, a good amount in which you should stop when you achieved will be of a great help to you, but most of the gamblers is not like that. Well virtual coins is an ironic subject here but people have to attach value in the gamble to feel the loss and the gain or there is no parallel emotion to the event of the win or loss.

Its not just for the money, quite a few people should not gamble if they do not win often enough.  They here for the game, I'm certain of it but that gamble involves money.     The alternative would involve something else with alot more effort, some people gamble their health doing dangerous sports and thats a buzz nothing else can match for them.

Maybe the thrill is what makes gambling really fun. Personally, the thrill of losing or winning money is entertainment for me. Yes, no matter how small the profits and how much pleasure in gambling, but still the main thing is to get money or profits in gambling. There are a lot of other things that can make people addicted to gambling and the most reason and most common, obviously is to earn easily money on casinos or gambling sites. I am sure that in out there, many people using cryptocurrency and fiat to earn money and like you said, we all like money, and we are trying to make money in many ways. Gambling was another ways for us to trying to earn money, but we have another option to earn money, and it's better to use the other way to make money. The main reason which is money is the biggest problem actually . Beacuse due to which  people lose so much money in gambling and thus also have so many side effects like addiction , borrowing of money etc . Instead of gambling is done for fun it is more better and not to lose money too.

When you are unable to catch same level of excitement with tokens on a free virtual casino, I guess you are gambling only for money and not for fun at all. Because, I am a gambler I find myself with all the environments the same. Yes, I do forget where I am once I get started with any type of gambling regardless of it is a real casino or a virtual one.
