I even like chatting with total strangers during poker tournaments, and I wouldn't say I'd agree with you on the distracting part. On the contrary, I feel better when there's an opportunity to chat while playing because I find it unhealthy to concentrate on the game alone.

Chatting somebody might trash talk you during the game and even if you try to focus, you'll end up losing your focus. And tilting is the only option if somebody talk trash.

I personally can see no problem with that. You can always ignore chat box, if you find it distracting, the way you ignore various ads on the sites you visit. But it's a good thing when the chat box is there for the people who like to chat. I think that normally human brain makes it possible to concentrate on several things simultaneously, and if you lose, you lose because of your mistakes or because of bad luck rather than because you are distracted by some trash talk.

I think if you embed things, whatever the function, chat or trollbox or even support ticket, it is the easiest option but somehow for me it always slows down the site, unless you route all the traffic through your own server. Especially for people like me,,, sometimes we are forced to use VPN or other means of access, because our ISP blocks traffic,,, when the internet connections is on 3 or 4 different servers because of the additional embeds, makes things very difficult for us to connect to the entire service.

Oh didn't know that can be an issue. Never had to use a VPN and so far my ISP don't block sites. This might be something that have to be considered since it'll definitely affect customer experience.

Good to see a business minded man here who is thinking of not to make in crypto but to build business around a concept that will help companies entertain people interested in gambling even using crypto. I think that you should really think about the market if there is and if companies will use your service.

You could make it a per subscription user thing and charge may be $10 dollar initially a month and later on giving packages but also rising the price. Functionalities like personal chat, personal chat recovery, group chats and famous trending chats could be incorporated.

I find discord is great for emojis and gifs and generally memes.   This kind of chat crosses borders and runs in line with the global nature to crypto and gamblers on the internet.   If you are going to make a chat fully capable from scratch then the ideal would be at least to match this level.    Usually people find chat requires admin so its a throw up between freedom to express and regulating a fair chat for all, easiest problem to point out would be spam I guess.   I would link access to users length on the site and also positive activity, also people like ranking up their profiles some

Definitely, its a problem sometimes which is why I say link talk power to equate with that users general use of the site over time and also just general usage.   The biggest risk of course is brand new users posting rubbish before they get banned.

People do like to be social and gambling is basically a game or leisure activity so an active chat box that works could be a real draw for people I think.   The people with best access should be returning users who play the games, newbies asking a question may not be visible to anyone besides moderators perhaps.   This forum used to have something similar, newbies had their own forum and only posts in there were allowed at first and mostly it was read by other new users and perhaps moderators and helpful users maybe

Chat boxes would either be spammy or a cool place for you to hang on when you are playing gambling yet we do meet different types of players which
as expected there would be some just trolling or begging for tips and some do likes to have some interactions or the time to jam with other players.

Chat box for gamble have good and bad side both. Good side is users can be helped by other user via chat box instantly. Again bad things is sometimes people are starting spam in the chat box. So my suggestions  are  :

1. Keep a active admin on chat box for reducing spam.
2. Keep some surprise  for most constructive user on chat box. The surprise can be The most of constructive  users will get some rewards ( some amount of btc, eth, ltc etc) this feature can attract people I think.

Surely it can. There are many gambling sites practicing this approach. Some players are rained based on what they currently wager and others based on their activity in the chat box. Both reasons are legitimate in my opinion. Apart from surprise rains it's good when some sort of trivia happening from time to time with rewards to the winners. Some gambling sites have such active chats that regular players, not even mods, run trivia there. I did it couple of times myself.

I'm thinking about creating the chat functionality from scratch in order to provide other companies that don't know how to start with it.

Put a tipping functionality, it should be wiser to give giveaways for the players to tip their mates in gambling. I also like the idea of putting memes on the chat box, but should be limited because there are surely many trolls and just meme all over the chat box if not limited. You could also put a share button, sharing of earned profits in gambling and drag people into your site is a good idea to increase your players.

Spammers should be limited to use emojis because usually they are trying to flood the chat box with those nonsense ideas. I don't communicate much on the chat, I'm just trying to read but honestly I really don't have time to analyze what they are saying because I want to have more fun on playing. I don't think this will be a good thing for me unless you will be making a limitations. You see, there are a lot of people that will abuse this emojis and just spam them in the chat box. If you are watching some streamers on Twitch, you will know how annoying that is especially to the streamer as he is usually focusing on what he/she is doing.

As of now BOTs were having a big role in any chat room utilizing time and automatic reply's for any queries. We are not in business all the time and so having this BOTs will solve the problem but of course we need to oversee the forum to check if everything will be in good and no participants ruining the equality of each members.

This is something very annoying in gambling chats.  These chats should be strictly moderated and anyone trying to misuse them , they should be banned without warning.  Gambling chats are for the purpose of discussion of gambling games and experience and they should not be allowed for advertise ponzi schemes.

It is not necesarry to create a community chat for a company tha wishes to start gambling. Mostly gambling company know how gambling works for they themselves had made some.experience to relate the company to be created or else if one is newbie in gambling then hiring individual  that are expert in the field may help.

Thus, I am discouraging individual to start a business or company without the knowledge on it how it works. It must be that an individual started a company to which he/she is knowledgeable with the operation.
