Check the prices from 2010 till today, you would see that bitcoin is progressing truly smoothly

First and foremost, all altcoins cannot die and its quite impossible for bitcoin to easily achieve x100
But altcoins can achieve x1000 easily.

For me bitcoin is the last resort, last stage and best form of investment for everyone, don't be fooled, bitcoin is not weakened. don't doubt that.

No, why it should when bitcoin is different from other crypto unless if all altcoin investments will be transferred to bitcoin then it could grow more but not 100X. Probably it will go to 10X more and that is already a good value for bitcoin if it will going to happen.

Well, when Bitcoin was the only one, it grew many times. When Bitcoin was 1 among thousands, it still managed to grow many multiple times.

I don't think x100 is impossible, but perhaps not in the next 10 years or even 50 years. 100x from now is only 400k. McAfee thinks it will be $1 million in 2020 so obviously there is no shortage of believers.

But it won't be the only one. I believe the likes of Monero and Eth will still be around when other alts die.

Almost impossible for all altcoins to die, this is largely because some of these projects have real use cases and are valuable to the crypto community. Bitcoin is strong considering how well it has performed since 2010 to date. Remember it is the most popular cryptocurrency as most people know BTC before any other. Alts do not have any negative impact on Bitcoin as they rather depend on it for any growth in their prices.

Everything has its own portion even if you are thinking if altcoin die and that doesn't mean if that can bring 100x for bitcoin. Most of people in the crypto are speculators that try to use it as a way to get fast bucks. You must know about that and it's so difficult to imagine.

what you are missing is the fact that people never took their money to invest elsewhere. they invested in bitcoin then used the bitcoin to invest in altcoins. in other words altcoins exist because of bitcoin not the other way around, people wanted alternative ways of making profit on their bitcoins so the altcoin pump market was created.

This is an innocent thought. The market capitalization of all altcoins is now several times larger than bitcoin. If all the altcoins are dead then maybe the crypto market will fall apart. Do not say bitcoin x100, even the corporations that own the altcoins will also collapse, both real and crypto markets will collapse accordingly.

Yes because investors would move their money in Bitcoin that would drive the demand up so the price would go up too,
But it wouldn't happen because there are so many alt-coin with different types of project and there are so many people who supports it.

Obviously if there will not be any other competitor all the volume will be directed towards btc that will give bitcoin the boost, the attention and hype resulting in big pump for btc, but such scenario is very unlikely for now.

Maybe yes maybe not but reach that price is impossible, not realistic for me. Altcoin follow bitcoin and if die they only need to change name and system, that's rules in financial world. This time market is not good but stay is not good option, leave  bitcoin for now and come back again next year.
