I'll try to go through this process step by step:

1)Mining was set up fine with a ATI 5830 and an NVidia 8800GT, but I have a 5770 to replace the 8800gt. I did not crossfire the 5770/5830, but they are both plugged in to pci x16 slots. I had Catalyst 10.7 and SDK 2.1 installed and the 5830 mining was working fine.

2)Remove the 8800gt, replace with 5770, boots up fine, is detected, windows update installs drivers. This seems to update both the 5830 and 5770 drivers, but both are now detected in MSI Afterburner. ONLY the 5830 is detected in GPU Caps Viewer.

3)Uninstall all ATI and NVidia related stuff with CCleaner. Then ran Driver Sweeper and removed all NVidia and ATI drivers. Unplugged the internet and restarted the computer (to keep windows update from doing it's thing). Booted and it indeed had no video drivers. Nothing showed up in GPu Caps Viewer, etc.

4)Installed the 10.7 Catalyst drivers, restarted, then the ATI Stream 2.1 SDK. All seemed to install well.

5)After installing the 2.1 SDK, I checked GPU Caps Viewer, it does not detect the 5770, but it does still detect the 5830 (Calls it "Cypress")

6)However, now when I open up poclbm-gui it says that it can't find any OpenCL drivers and closes, poclbm-mod also throws some weird errors, and doesn't work. Attached is the logs/outputs:

poclbm-gui:

remove all drivers and sdk. load latest ati 11.2 (full, with app) and nothing else.
then connect the monitor to 5830 and run poclbm.
unplug from 5830 and connect the monitor to 5770 and run poclbm
this procedure i follow with different .bat files (each for every card/worker)
i haven't tried any gui yet Wink

I wouldn't bother with SDK 2.1, I was never able to get it to work and always had problems with it.

Alright installed 2.3/11.2. Everything looks the same in GPU Caps Viewer (except versions of course), aka it's only detecting one of my cards. Is this the solution:

then connect the monitor to 5830 and run poclbm.
unplug from 5830 and connect the monitor to 5770 and run poclbm

What's weird is I had it working fine before using 10.7/2.1? Also I lost 10MHash/sec moving to SDK 2.3 and 11.2, so that's kind of an incentive to get 2.1 working. This drop is also seen by this guy, so I'm not doing anything wrong:
