The cost of the coin began to fall sharply in the evening of December 3, over the course of the day market capitalization decreased by almost $ 10 billion.

On the evening of December 3, the cost of Bitcoin dropped sharply by $ 150 - the cryptocurrency fell from $ 4,030 to $ 3,880. Over the past day, the asset has fallen in price by 6.5%. During the same time, the price of XRP fell by 4.8%, Ethereum - by 7.5%. The total capitalization of the industry fell by 7.5% - from $ 134 billion to $ 124 billion.

Earlier, analyst Ayash Jindal predicted a fall in the rate of the first cryptocurrency to the level of $ 3,880. At the same time, analyst of the online trading platform IG Chris Byuchemp stressed that in the near future the cost of Bitcoin will continue to decline, as investors lose confidence in the asset and begin to withdraw money from the market.

At the same time, Fundstrat founder Tom Lee believes in the prospects of digital money, in his opinion, in 10 years the price of Bitcoin could theoretically reach $ 10 million. Head of Galaxy Digital Mike Novograz believes that in 2019, the first cryptocurrency will cost more than $ 20,000.

There's never a wrong time to buy because no one knows how high it will ever or how low to it will ever drop, you can as well buy now, I'd suggest split your investment into 6-10 then use a portion of the split to buy every time you think it has dropped enough.

It is not wrong to buy bitcoin at this point all depend how much you can afford and if there is a another drop more than $3880 one can still buy more.

The cost of the coin began to fall sharply in the evening of December 3, over the course of the day market capitalization decreased by almost $ 10 billion.

read the first line and instantly thought the OP has no clue. 3 errors

error 1:
fell sharply? going between ~$4k ~$3.8k is not a fall sharply... its a standard expectation variation
5% change is not even worth a mention these days
also being more precise.. 4030->3880 = 3.722% not 6.5%

error 2:
his "evening" "course of the day" is different than other peoples. .. in an international forum. you need to use timezones or suggest which clock you refer to when mentioning times

error 3:
bitcoin has no capitalisation
there is no hoard of $ backing every coin in circulation

the market cap is a meaningless number. do not refer to it as it has no meaning.
i can make an altcoin with 5trillion coins. i can spend just $1 and make a market cap be $5trillion

yes i can make a market cap of a coin be $5trillion, only spending $1

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

if you ask when btc has to be bought it's up to your own trust, everybody doesn't have the lowest price benchmark for btc, I just think btc only has the lowest price at $ 3700 then and goes up to $ 4200 and goes back down at $ 3880, the decline isn't as sharp you mentioned

I see each one have their comment about Bitcoin. But I do not like the negative comments about Bitcoin's future because I'm Fan of it. You can see that Crypto is a new currency, it solves a lot of awkward. I hope that in the future I can use it for one-touch operation.

Obviously, I think it's the best time to invest. we may never see these levels again. These risks are the most appropriate places to take risks if they are to take risks.

I don't see strong support at any lever to be honest but some have been saying prices will be jumping above $4000 and say this is upward pressure. Anyway, I don't thinnk it's a great period to earn. Sell of what you can at profit if you bought lower, I would say.

Of course there is no strong support at any level, people expect it to go lower so they hold most of their fiat to buy at these lower levels. I remember back in 2015 that people were similarly skeptical about the market, especially with how the price after the ~$150 bottom just wouldn't break through $300 for quite a long period of time.

I don't expect people to go nuts on the price until they strongly believe the bottom is in, and that's when we're due for some form of a fomo run.

It makes zero sense to sell now, so don't do it, even if you're still in the green at current levels. If you didn't sell above $6000 then definitely don't sell right now.

While I personally agree, it depends on an investor's propensity for risk and ability to hold through more blood. It's not outside the realm of possibility to see low $2,000s or $1,500 here. There are definitely weaker hands who are better off selling now because otherwise they'll end up selling the bottom.

But hey, someone's got to sell the bottom. Better them than me. Smiley

Buy in small chunks every few days or once per week. And have an average of a price. I have been buying since 6.4K and now have an average of 5K. If at some point it reaches 10K then I have doubled my investment and 10K it’s totally possible in 1-2 years.

Based on the news that I heard from some media, Nasdaq confirms that they will Bitcoin Futures in 2019. So, I am gonna say that right now is a good time to buy it and hold it for a while at least hold it until it gets listed on Nasdaq in a year of time.
https://www.coinrivet.com/nasdaq-confirms-it-will-list-bitcoin-futures/

Support, resistance or chart? I am not using it anymore this year, it won't help you at all. I will use it again once the market is out of this capitulation.

Exactly!

Anything under $4000 is a brilliant price. Some people are waiting and hoping for say $3000 or even less, which maybe they will get lucky and it'll drop that far, but as for me I'm buying as much as I can under $4000 rather than possibly miss out on buying at the bottom because I was too greedy. Now is the time to accumulate as much coin as possible in this bottom range, I'd rather buy a bunch at $3800 and miss a drop to $2800 than wait for $2800 that never comes and end up having to buy months from now at $4800. When its sitting around probably $100k in ~3 years at the next peak I won't care too much whether I missed the absolute bottom by a few hundred dollars.
