According to the resource, there has been printers hacked which is done by one of the pewdiepie fan.  He commanded 50,000 printers and used them to print a message in support of PewDiePie. The major takeaway from the incident from a cryptocurrency security standpoint is that printing bitcoin wallet recovery seeds from a networked printer may be an incredibly risky activity. The process of hacking an internet-connected printer could involve stealing files stored on the printer’s internal memory. What do you think about it? Will It affect any of the users bitcoins wallet?

There is only way I can see this affect wallets: it's the paper wallets of people which don't reset/clean up properly their computer and printer from traces of those wallets. There were warnings and people are aware that printers' memory can keep the last printed page and for now there are no known viruses trying to take advantage of that. Also the use of paper wallets is not that big, people seem to migrate to hardware wallets (which I think they're safe from this exploit).

So expect such viruses to make less damage than the clipboard alteration type viruses and with bigger programming effort. This means it's not really an issue.

this can be possible to hack stored files on printers memory if someone ever printed them but for that hacker will require to open backdoors in the pc and this can only be possible if you install a binded with code  by the hacker..it is not easy to target the specific pc untill unless you invite the hacker to do so.. use linux instead of windows most recomended thing to do to keep you pc safe

If there is an intent to get crypto information from a user then that could be an issue, though that user should have done the following before they are hacked which is I think what happened when pwediepie fan hacked the printers: the user should have link a suspicious link form a website or email, the user have downloaded suspicious file, the user visited a suspicious site and their ip address was compromised due to giving to much information. If they have done either one of these then they will surely get compromised.

How does one try to hack printers? What's he hoping for? Is there really only the expectation of cryptocurrencies there? The most bizarre corruption I've ever heard.

He just want to support Pewds from hacking printers to print automatically probably saying "subscribe to Pewdiepie".

And one concern are those crypto folks that printed their seeds or private keys through printer. It might reprint that file and can possibly get by others.

Hacking printer is super easy man, moreover if the printer is connected to a network, local or internet. This is just a prank, done by a newbie hacker maybe or by bunch of kids that want to make some laugh. On the other hand hacking any cryptocurrency, at any stage, cracking wallet or any other hacking related to cryptocurrency is way more complex. Not only you need to have a really good hacking skill, but you also need a big compute power. What I am saying is that hacking printer and hacking cryptocurrency is in far different league.

Avoid making paper wallet to evade from those hackers. Still the best way to safekeep the funds is holding it to the hardware wallet. Hardware wallet is still good and cannot be hacked easily by the hackers trying to hack you.

I guess that doesn't make sense. As far as i know basically the printer will forget it after printed something. I thought that the data that you have already printed it might not be saved on that print. Op should not feel worried about that.

Hacking Cryptocurrency wallet is difficult I agree, but here it say cryptocurrency wallets can also be affected. If the person might have given a document of wallet for print then the document might have been saved by the printer, which will cause an adverse effect to the wallet holder if he gets the access.

They are completely unrelated.
But it does highlight the cyber security threat we have at current time.
Even a hardware as simple as printer are being targeted and hacked with success. We know at what alarming risk our wallets are in.
P.S. Its not a good way to advertise a youtube channel.
