Bitcoin crashes again somewhere around Christmass and the price goes down to 1K USD.
You buy 3.8 bitcoins with the dollars you got from the previous sale and you HODL.
In 2019-2020 bitcoin recovers to 10K USD (or maybe reaches 20K ATH).
You have made atleast 38K USD.

I think that this is every crypto whale's trading plan for the next 2 years.

I think that's the basic principle of trading, to buy low and sell high. That's how traders earn money thru cryptocurrency trading. However, the problem is, how will you speculate whether how deep the market will dip? When to buy, and when to sell?

That is incredibly risky. Selling now hoping to buy in significantly lower is just hoping to get extremely lucky. You should not be selling anything now, only buying.


What I've learned from mostly doing very poorly trading, don't try to predict the market, just ride the market. Price is very low now, so buy. If price falls, buy again. Keep buying while its low as much as you can. Sell it later on at some point for a far higher price.

Looks very good (considering it will happen)... But keep in mind you will have an initial loss by selling BTC for $3800, as you have probably bought it for a more expensive price before. Also, you are being very optimistic about buying BTC for $1000.

Anyway there is some chance it can work, like people who sold for $6000 and are thinking now if it's already the best moment to enter the market again.

You should have done that during the previous year, if you had a bitcoin you could have sold that bitcoin for a price close to 20000 dollars and now you could buy it for a price below 3300 dollars, so that one bitcoin could allow you now to buy six bitcoins, but if you want my opinion it seems to me that is very late to try that strategy, because I really do not think that we're going to see a price of 1000 dollars for each bitcoin.

Some people learned that the hard way, trading is an activity that seems to be very easy but timing is everything, the strategy that is suggested could have been very successful one year ago but trying that strategy now is probably going to lead to huge losses, it is the very same strategy but in a moment in time that strategy is the best thing that you can do and in another moment it is the worst thing that you can do.

That is what is expected, buy when the price is low and get a profit by selling when the price jumps high. Buy now and be patient in holding for the next few years, bitcoin will provide a sweet profit.

What you said might be true. But while we cannot fully understand the situation we are currently in, another risk can make the situation worse. What if price will move to the opposite of what you said and if the current price is the bottom?
