10x Industry Speed Match Engine - No Overloads and Downtimes
You might want to change your slogan to something else. We all know this is not true. Today Bybit was to put the limit and what i saw was no surprise It was the mother of crushes - Wallet balances not syncing - PnL not showing at all - Orders not getting executed - Orderbook prices were way off the prices from other exchanges for example at one point for about 10 minutes ETH contract price was at $125 while all other exchanges still had their at $140 How's that for an exchange with no overloads and downtime?

In a new contest, Bybit requests to repost the info about the contest in their social networks. What am I supposed to repost if there are no original posts about the contest made by Bybit from their accounts in any social networks?

No, they meant exactly the post about the contest, not just pinned post. I didn't find such post on FB, Twitter and LinkedIn. But later I found it on VK,Telegram and Instagram. It seems, current contest is promoted only via those channels.

The exchange that used to boost about not having any downtimes or overloads disappointed traders yet again a few hours ago when the market was little volatile. Traders weren't able to open and close their positions. To me, it seems Bybit is going to the old days of bitmex when it would freeze whenever the market was volatile Here's one of the tweets from one of the affected traders - https://twitter.com/Johnny___Crypto/status/1645476516921212953

ByBit are SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS 🔥 After Bybit was hacked four weeks ago, they imposed restrictions on my assets. Since then, I have been unable to make any withdrawals, and it has now been four weeks without resolution. I contacted Bybit support, and they requested a video recording as part of their verification process. I submitted the recording promptly, but I have yet to receive any response from their team. It has been three weeks since I provided the requested documentation, and despite my repeated attempts to reach out, Bybit support remains unresponsive. This is completely unacceptable. Bybit’s lack of transparency and failure to address my concerns demonstrates a clear disregard for their users. Avoid Bybit —this is a SCAM company!

The exchange already sucks. Make a proper scam accusation in this board with proper documentation of what went on regarding them not processing your withdrawals. That would hopefully help other users to avoid the exchange in the future. Follow this scam reporting format; What happened:

I never knew a dedicated Bybit's thread was on this forum until now, it was opened in 2018 when they were still looking for customers but abandoned it pretty fast when they became the big boys...lol That aside, I knew it was insincere when Ben Zhou claimed Bybit was prepared to honour everybody's withdrawal in the wake of the attack when people were making panic withdrawal, it's a strategy to douse tension. Your case can't be an isolated one, so I advise you to continue to call them out in media for people to know what is going on and perhaps others in your situation can voice out as well. I hate it when companies treat customers like this, I think it's a Dubai-based, you can press a lawsuit too if the money is big enough.

Withdraw your crypto from Bybit.
Bybit is siphoning off your money!
I came to this conclusion for two reasons.
1. On October 30, 2025, Bybit froze my account and withheld my funds, despite my account and transaction history being completely legitimate and transparent. A small transfer to my own account, where I had already transferred USDT, was blocked. The freeze was unjustified.
Much larger funds were frozen for inappropriate periods. There is no explanation, and the support team keeps extending the deadlines (3-5, 14, 30 days).
Bybit acknowledged receipt of my documents but continues to withhold my funds, citing an unspecified "compliance review" that could take up to 30 business days. They provided no legal basis, references to regulations, or evidence of suspicion, and did not explain the reason for withholding my assets.
According to the principles of good faith established by Japanese civil law and consumer protection law (Japanese Consumer Protection Law 10), such prolonged retention without cause constitutes an unfair restriction of user rights and a potential breach of financial service obligations. This is a civil offense, but I allege that they are committing a criminal offense by misusing users' funds for their own benefit.
They have not responded to the legal complaints I sent to the Financial Supervisory Agency (FSA) and I sent copies to them. I have asked the FSA to review this case and determine whether Bybit has the right to withhold funds from verified users indefinitely without disclosing the legal basis. The Japan FSA no longer recommends using Bybit's services and is preparing legislation to ban it.
My case number with Bybit: #22472783 Block notification date: October 30, 2025
2. I also decided to check out Bybit. I provided all my personal information to upgrade my account security to KYC Pro and expedite the review process. Three business days is the maximum review period for this issue, but I haven't received a response for over a week.
I suspect Bybit is using all my funds to generate additional profits. That's why my funds have been frozen without explanation. So, Bybit is siphoning off my money! There are NO other reasons!

I would not be surprised if this turns out to be true, since 1.2bn out of the 1.4bn stolen from them a couple of months back has gone dark and will basically not be recovered by ByBit ever. So "of course" they squeeze their customers in order to extract as much money from them as they can to make up the deficit. This looks more laughable by the day:

Someone in my city got his funds blocked in Bybit exchanger after being refunded from Binance for unknown reasons.
The person made a fatal mistake by sending to someone binance user directly from his Bybit account. Those funds were blocked by binance system for verification, then Binance decided to refund the amount to the original address which belong to Bybit hot wallet. After contacting Bybit support, they asked to create a video of the full process, which was almost impossible because the person has no access to Binance account. The user created a video showing how he can login to his Bybite account which seems to be total nonsense. The video was rejected 20 times through 20 days.
I see official representative is no longer active since years. Does anybody knows how to solve this issue or has a contact with the team. The amount is not that big but it is a lifetime saving for a student.

Why can't he try to convince the Binance support to collaborate with Bybit support since the funds were sent from an address he has no control over? Maybe the Binance folks could temporarily let him access the account so he can record the necessary video. But it's also unfortunate that the Bybit people are rigid and don't want to adjust according to the situation.
