Well by now most of us know about scammers, hackers and there Co host and how there ugly act can course there prey loss of fund and vital information.

It's obvious everyone wants to protect themselves from this criminals most times at all cost we are constantly craving for new and improved way of protecting ourselves from falling prey to them and some times as a result of our anxiousness in protecting ourselves we can become vulnerable and gullible to them.

It's should not be a surprise to some individuals this scammers now poses to have protection tools or apps against scam for example I entered a site the other day and a small box with a clickable link stating that there is a virus on my phone(my phone was very OK)  and I should click the link to eliminate it  if I was so anxious I would have clicked it and falling prey to them there various schemes they are coming up with.

We always want advanced protection rather than just doing the little primary safety measures first like
# don't click it if you don't understand it
# download most of your apps, from play store or apple store
# get a double protection system from google
# falling in love with the report spam and block button
# stick to rules and don't be greedy

You can have other added measures and just stay safe

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

# download most of your apps, from play store or apple store
This is actually not a good idea. You should not look for apps and download an app just because it is on play store or apple store because there are many fake apps there whose sole purpose is to phish your login details or infect your device with malware.
You should download your apps from the official websites and channels and if the link from there leads to the play store or apple store then it is OK if you trust it.

Your contribution is quite a good one but either ways am still correct my intentions was to make it clear that getting your apps, music, videos or other files form individuals or any other suspicious places could be bad. And also most source still end up directing you to play store or apple store it's kind of trusted but still not completely safe

My number 1 rule is always be paranoid, that'd always keep you in check to always verify rather than trust solely based on reputation. And when dealing with anybody or an exchange do not trust, Even if you've always done successful and hassle-free deals in the past because 1. People are subjected to changes and 2. It takes less than a second to get compromised and you might not be dealing with the same person you think it is.

# download most of your apps, from play store or apple store

Google play store is a haven of both Malicious and authentic apps, as I talked about in this post, Not all crypto apps in App stores are safe
You will realise that just downloading from Google play or appstore isn't enough. You have to use the official link from the official website of the coin/token which could just be a direct download or probably link you to an app store to their official app.

Also you have to be very vigilant, look at the number of downloads, number of reviews, positive and negative, time and pattern of reviews(very important in determining fake reviews)

I understood where you were going by saying we should only download apps from Google and Play store. But you forgot that, that's even the store where the highest malicious apps can be found. Example we have the Bitcointalk App which isn't link with the developers of this forum so was the binance and coinbase App inwhich the companies has no association with, before they created their official Apps.
The best way to avoid these hackers is to verify any information you see online before you make use of them. Before you download an App verify from official social media account or support center if that's the official App. same should go for any information you find online like Giveaways, Airdrop, Bounty etc. Hackers are getting smarter by the day so the only way to not fall prey is by outsmarting them.

I agree. I have been scammed by this app from Playstore (lost like $155) but it was somewhat my fault since I didn't read the reviews because a lot of people was already scammed and they were warning about the app. Google should add a report button that activates if the app gets too many bad reviews

It's not always a hundred percent safe to download straight from Google Play Store,as scammers have found more than one ways to infiltrate the system and install fake apps that could harm your device and scam you subsequently.
Always use the original website, but if you get redirected from their to play store then I doubt if you'll have any problems with the download
# stick to rules and don't be greedy
This one really needs to be underscored as it happens to be 90% the reason why most people fall victims while trying to earn or gain far more than what is actually feasible or possible.
