I suggest to you, don't have big ambitions to get profit from crypto, because the volatility has a crazy risk.
selling real assets for crypto investments or trading capital is a bad idea.
we better invest or trade with capital from our real work.
now, you better hold your assets.

Oh dear . It's awful, I can recomend to hold your tokens. Selling now is very stupid, the ptices are so low now that it's better to forget about them. just wait some months else and all will be ok.
I agree with you, we know that value now in the market is too dip it's better to hold your coins and wait for right time until it become increased. Don't panic just wait and be patient and you'll see it become ok .

I mortgaged my house to buy $300,000 of ETH at 800. I dod not tell her. This house was paid off in full. Now I cant make the mortgage payments with my job. I cant even sell the ETH easily because I live in NH. Should i keep holding? Tired of making excuses about wherr all the money is going. I guess I'm what you call a loser. Thanks everyone.
they say: don't count your chickens before they are hatched. I understand the guy is having tough times now but it is too early to consider himself a looser. Find the strength to tell the truth to your wife and may be together you will solve the situation.

You are not actually a loser in the market, what you need at this point is patient. As for investing it will be best you invest what you can afford to lose not risking all you have.

Patients is best to do in investing cause if you have not this your investment it may go. In one investment you need patients to wait to increase your investment and also it best to invest the money afford to lose cause in a wrong decision it may cause to loose your investment.

It is impossible to mortgage the house without your wife knowing about it unless you falsified her signature or got a shady deal from the bank. If you did get a mortgage, then you'd better fess up incase you drop dead and they repossess the house
That's exactly what I mentioned previously. There's no way he could have done it without his wife's consent. Even if the house is in the husband's name, you can't mortgage the house if the person is married without wife's consent.

First, you have to be honest with your wife and talk to her clearly, if she really loves you and understands you,She will understand your mistake and help you to overcome it together, besides that it will take a great weight off your shoulders and help you make better decisions, I think ethereum still has a good potential, but I can not assure you that it will recover so much.

Do not forget that innovative projects are emerging on the ETH platform that are worth exploring and can bring excellent profits. Be a faithful spouse for your wife and consult with loved ones. This is not the most difficult situation from which people found a way out.

well, i wont call you a loser. You took a high risk as a man which lots of men are scared of doing. Though you in a tight corner now, i suggest you sell part of the ethereum, convert some to bitcoin and hold then keep the remaining bitcoin. you never can tell what will happen to bitcoin in the nearest future

Thanks everyone.
don't you worry brother, your not the only individuals here who faced and experienced that, in fact there more others who are worsen that yours. But my advise to you, if you can still survive for a couple of weeks or months better for you to hold still your Ethereum, because for sure its price value will increase at the moment we didn't expect to be happen. And you can still not loser unless you sell it now the Ethereum you have in your wallet now.

Well, it really was a rash and spontaneous decision. You can't do that if you don't know what you're doing right now. There is one Golden rule that every investor or just a person working with cryptocurrencies in the market must follow: invest in cryptocurrencies as much money as you are not afraid to lose. I guess putting your house on this rule doesn't fit.

I am sorry this happened to you. It has happened to a lot of guys, I only hear sad stories in crypto now. Buy at ATH, gets burned. I do not know about your marriage situation, I your wife has understanding then try to explain her why happened. Truth is, Ethereum may surpass ATH in the next years but there is no timeline or assurance for it. But if can hold off, don't sell yet because ETH is really low now, even if it does not get 800 dollars again it will go up in future. You are human and make mistake. You are no loser but you must be a man and own your mistake.

This is bitcoin discussion section, for alts you have special section, surprise or not the name is altcoin section, easy to be found. I am very surprised that the bank allowed you to mortgage your house without your wife's consent. Regardless of whos name on the title, the wife needs consent.
He is just one more newcomer, spreading panic across the forum. There is no way that this is a true story, of course he couldn't take mortgage without his wife consent. People who have financial problems, like most of us do, find a second or third job. Nobody open account here to cry about financial problems. This is not real, just one more fud thread, nothing more, people here should recognise that.

You have made a very brave and even more reckless act, laying his house. Investments in crypto currency are not very reliable and stable yet, and you should not risk such important things as, for example, a house. This should be a great example for all other investors as not worth doing.

Of course, I can't envy your position, and I understand your wife's frustration. But if you have already paid a mortgage for your home and you have a source of income to maintain it, I would advise you to keep holding ETH or transfer some of it to bitcoins. I still hope that the price will recover and continue to rise and every investor will be able to continue to profit from their investment.

These are very difficult times for every bitcoin investor, especially for those who have also risked a large amount or their property like you. But I think you don't have to stop, and keep holding your coins, because selling them now when the price is so low is not the best solution.

At the very beginning of my investment in cryptocurrencies, I heard a great advice: do not invest more than you can afford and are ready to lose. Mortgaging your home to invest in bitcoin is a very rash decision. But it's too late for you to say it, because you did it. In your place, I would continue to hold ETH in your wallet and hope for a price increase soon.

I think you better telling her the truth about the condition. Explain her about cryptocurrency and about market movement and your portfolio. I am believe she will understand if you are honest with her. Maybe you can hold your coin but i am believe you can not predict where market move.
