BTC Falling to mid 3K Will it go down more?

so just prepared for the worst scenario (bottoming) and best scenario (start of the bull run).

They both sound like best scenarios to me. I have already decided I won't be selling and so all there is to do now is wait. I want the bottom to come around as quickly as possible so that market recovery can begin.

At this point, support levels are irrelevant because we're getting closer to the last bottom. So forget about looking for support as its not a good indication for now. Well 2017 was a bubble and it peak when we almost touch $20,000 and then followed by the bearish trend, which makes this another cycle. The only question is when will the next cycle starts? Well, it could be as early Q1 2019, so just prepared for the worst scenario (bottoming) and best scenario (start of the bull run).

How can people assume and claim such facts with that much confidence blows me away, I hope you actually have money on the line and you're not just rambling away at spreading information. We are not getting close to the last bottom, in case there's yet another dip (which there definitely is, it's not avoidable at this point), once it stops, it's the same scenario that happened at mid 4k$, it's either going to hold itself for long enough to become a bull, or we're going to yet again, dip.

I definitely don't think we're going to see "The bottom" yet. Two or three red candles that take us all the way down to sub 2k is not something unexpectable. I hope I'm wrong.. if not, I just hope it won't take too long so that all of this can be over and we start going upwards again.

I think suffering is not over for now and there may still be a lower decline. Maybe the decline at the end of this year can be $ 2500, but entering 2019 bitcoin will be able to recover its value gradually.

I think next week we would be able to see BTC less then 3000$, as it has already moved to 3300$ and again towards 3400$ but market is continuously going down. Every week there is a decline of 10 billion dollar in btc investment. Now it's around 59Billion dollar, next weak target is less than 50Billion dollar, that will automatically reduce btc price towards 2000$.

I think no one is decline the end of the year result because Bitcoin is out of control so we will see positive or negative result in end of the year. Back when bitcoin got stabilized at around 6-7 thousand dollar levels we were so sure of ourselves and (including me) everyone said it wouldn't go under 6 thousand anymore. Now that the price kept going down and not recovering we are really not sure what is the bottom anymore.

Price keeps falling down and if the price reaches to 2800 tomorrow nobody will be shocked because we are really preparing ourselves for the worst outcome.

I think this is not a good time to invest into bitcoin because the community in general doesn't feel the hype anymore and we are not looking for a big skyrocketing increase, we are just hoping not to drop any further and when the goal is not going down instead of going up you know its not a good time to buy.

Hopefully, the bitcoin price will recover sooner or later because I knew some bitcoiners are starting to lose their hopes when they see that Bitcoin price is continues to fall. Hopefully, it will not get it to the point that Bitcoin will decrease its value, because once it decrease its value again people will start to panic selling and its not good in our community. Just believe in Bitcoin and trust it though it is in down today.

that's one of the reasons why i think we're near the bottom. sentiment is super bearish, shorts are extremely high, and everyone is expecting to go much lower. $2800 is quite reasonable compared to some of the targets coming out now. people are starting to expect triple digits!

when everyone has already sold/shorted, there's no one left to sell. remember that.

it's certainly possible. all i know is, the rise off the bottom should be very strong based on the velocity of the crash. that's why i don't think we've bottomed yet. there's been no spring.

I think the Major buy Zone is around 3K to 2.8K ... but the thing is when we reach these levels we will see some Really Bad news which will be highly likely related with ETF , Bakkt or something like that will come and that will create another Panic in the Market ... that will be the stage where these institutional money will be coming into BTC ... believe me they will create a massive bad news in which Media will involve and those FUD lovers...this is how we will be at low levels around 2K or 1.8K.

well, currently the price of bitcoin is stable at $ 3500. even though it looks stable, it is possible to decline even further, because we know that at the end of the year there is always a decline, and at the end of this year it hasn't ended.

   I thought Bitcoin is stable at $6500, we all felt in last few weeks how stable Bitcoin was. We don`t have to think about it, we are going trough
bearish faze since January. What will happen in next 20 days of this year, nobody can predict. We need to be positive about entire crypto-market,
maybe this bearish faze will not end with this year, but it will once. I`m ready to wait for it, and when I can I will buy more. It`s only thing I care
about, being positive and doing what I can do.

It seems possible to go down lower than $3000 as we don't have a good news that can attract new investors and those old investors will not buy even at that price as they are afraid if the fall will go deeper at $2000. Just wait and be vigilant with the market situation. Although the current price is now at $3600 but it's still not safe at that level.

Yes, the bear market doesn't stop and continue to down although sometimes the price can increase higher but still, the price gets down again. Maybe the price could go lower than the $3k range, and I don't know how much the price will reach the bottom price and how long we will see this bear market. The market still unpredictable and we cannot do anything except following the price and keep trying to make a profit although it is difficult. I am sure that this will end and we will see bitcoin reach the high rate again.

You lost faith in crypto it seems, one thing you need to understand at the moment that is to wait patiently for few more days, panic is not an exact solution right now. I can understand the market is very ridiculous but what can we do more than holding?

The market is definitely irrational, but it's not a surprise at all that when the price goes up people become overly bullish, and when the price dips they become overly bearish. In other words, people follow the flow of the market.

Some guess based on nothing but hope and believe, others do it based on TA, an educated guess is what people call it, but it's still a guess. At the end of the day, the market doesn't bottom where you expect it to bottom.

You either dollar cost average your entry points whilst the price is going down, or you'll miss out on buying near the bottom because you keep expecting it to go lower. If Bakkt's futures are approved the market might see that as a reversal.

Yes, I think we might reach $1500 by Christmas, and $700 by February.

It is very possible that the market will go sideway until the end of the year.  There might be some fall but there will be recovery and correction.  I guess BTC won't go as low as $1500 this Dec. and definitely not $700 on February since there is a possible catalyst for BTC to be bullish this January if it is not cancelled again.

some investors are looking into exploiting any dump towards $2700-$3000 as result of tax selling at the end of the year. Most times by January, there is always a slight correction in the space but I cant tell to what side the movement might be.

I thought it will recover from $3770 low but that support level has been broken and that is an indication that the market is really not doing very well currently. From the beginning of the year we have this bearish signal and the bearish market has run throughout the year, we hope that next year should be another bull run year so most of us can reduce loses.

That's true that's why we need a lot of patience to this kind of situation because we don't know what will happen in few days or maybe next year is a great time for bitcoin to move up again.

Well, I think the bitcoin price will still go down further and settled in somewhere around $2300 I guess. The market is still bearish and there is no strong momentum by the investors and as a result of that I think the market is going to drop more further.
