The lead developer said about the last one: I don’t like it so much, I find it doesn’t breathe enough... in that’s sense, I prefer the one from icalical, it’s simpler and has less thing to focus on, which I think is better for brand recognition. Though I agree with your comment that his design is not well balanced and may not be appropriate for a coin. Still, a minimalist and simpler design is what we should be aiming for in order to build a strong and recognizable brand"

but ask yourself, would this actually be a successful coin logo. There isn't a balance, it looks like it's about to spin around.
Also, people in general, check out our current logo the way there is this sense of arrows and such radiating. An update of that image would work great.
