2. Hype based projects that never deliver are discouraged to put in the extra effort.

For startups the biggest trouble is always between the time of concept to getting their first funding, and during that stage they do need to make tests and really work the concept into reality and when ethereum based startups do something they usually require a bit of ethereum and when it is 1500 for one single ethereum that is a lot of money for a new startup, usually they have that much as a whole and ethereum requires it to be just for one ethereum.

This way startups can just get one or two ethereum and not spend thousands of dollars for it and still use it to check if their idea works. Basically made the ethereum crypto startup space a lot easier to get into and created a lot of income from the newly founded ideas. Lets hope there will be a lot more in the future until ethereum goes back up.

Great insights - we've been self funded until now, focusing mainly on developing our product, hiring top developers and engineers. Reading through the Q3 report for the year of coingecko ( https://assets.coingecko.com/reports/2018-Q3-Report/CoinGecko-2018-Q3-Report-EN.pdf ) , got a lot of exposition to the high level of volatility of Ethereum which dumps the price. The demand in ethereum reduced due to investors low response to ICOs as the year round up, and the shared percentage of other platform for projects' token had significant effect. In the coming year due improved response to the control of cryptocurrency is some countries, it will bring confidence to mainstream investment which could pump the price.

how it can be useful. you say that such a correction helps to clear the market of those users who do not believe in crypto. But what about those people who live on cryptocurrency? they just have to sell because they need money. they can't buy food for bitcoin

You could also implement these methods for any other altcoins if you do so and not just only for ETH. Real investors would make a money from the market even if it is too bearish.
