Most altcoins are useless if you feel that the project team is not active, doesn't even attending any crypto related events then sell of immediately. However if you can see that the team is active, always have an update on development and attending crypto events then i think it's worth it to hold.

I think many people doing the same including me. Some of my holds already lost about 80% of its value so doing CL is not worth it. I also already sold some altcoins that lack of progress and convert them into btc or eth.
