in fact i do believe that drops like these are caused by people who understand the bitcoin technology and huge potential too well that is why they are trying to accumulate more of it. the drops doesn't occur slowly, it usually is caused by a big offload of BTC on the exchanges that crashes it down with a sharp drop. that leaves me to believe that it is whales selling to crash the price not other investors, they follow the drop afterwards.

You're right. If you had a lot of Bitcoins that you bought or mined years ago what would you do in this market full of newbie investors and hype buyers? I'd borrow some fiat money, put it all into futures and sell all my bitcoins to crash the market. Next, I'd wait for the panic to settle, buy back all the bitcoins and take profit from my futures. In the end I'd still have my Bitcoins and millions of dollars of profit from futures.

We are not moving at the pace we should be doing. Every time there is a bad news it goes even lower, right now it dropped once again to $3400 levels and it is really looking like the recovery will not be here anytime soon, not the recovery back to $4200 (which I assume could happen or not) but the recovery to over $6k once again.

It is shocking and very disappointing that we are really hoping for the price to go back to $6.5k levels once again whereas we were talking about how it should go above $8k back when we were there. The lower it gets the lower our goals become as well. Honestly, I am scared about bitcoin lately, it has been a very difficult challenge for all of us to just wait and hold and hope for bitcoin to go back to better prices.

We really are in a crucial time its true. We can either make or break from here. Either we are going to be really huge and skyrocket from these prices and will look back on these prices like "I wish I bought more when it was low" or we are going to be going further down and really break everyone spirit and the volume will be low. Still, going down has worse results than what can be gained by going up.

First of all, if it goes further down there will be less interested people and there will be less coins because some will die and it will be harder and harder to go back up. However, if we go up even though that's great unless we reach something like 30 thousand dollars quickly, people who see the price going up will still be careful about it fearing a drop in price eventually because they are still afraid.

You are right, we couldn't jump in into the price if bitcoin price will raising up back. Let's wait until the price swinging again in the market, if you bought that during high price still hold until you will see that your profit was there. Besides, this is our great opportunity to buy as much as we can while the market is very cheap. Don't be afraid, you can ride the risk on this situation.

It's not really that crucial of a time. There is a ton of investment and growth happening in the Bitcoin investment community right now (exchanges opening up OTC and institutional platforms, Wall St exchanges getting built, investment firms building custody solutions and trading desks, etc). There is zero reason to worry right now. The last crash a few years ago when the biggest exchange in the world collapsed and there was nothing on the horizon to bring the price up was a far more "crucial" time for Bitcoin. Right now if you just have patience you aren't worried in the slightest, and you are loading up on the bottom Bitcoin price like me!

If you are only thinking about the money then this moment seems to be crucial, but in my opinion one of the most crucial moments happened when the developers were finally able to activate segwit, that day was very important for the history of bitcoin because that has opened the door for the lightning network that will allow bitcoin to process many more transactions than what it can do now.

Bitcoin is really not a scam, its just so happen that this market is compose of many manipulators and that’s why the price continues to dump. The OP should understand the real usage of bitcoin or the blockchain technology, because thinking bitcoin is a scam after so many years of its existence is a not a good one. Investors lose their money because its normal in any market, do you know someone who don’t lose money in stock market? I think none. Let’s just be patience and always think positive it can help you to overcome this current situation.

Let  say it's the crucial time and people are starting to believe this as the worst time, but there's also people who keep believing in bitcoin and they hold it tightly because they know that rising up or falling down price is common on bitcoin. So, don't you panic and started to worry about this red time, it will change and come back to normal soon.

This kind of thing is a risk. We cannot avoid it because anything can happen. never think that the crypto world can always give us big profits. Look at how the struggle is going. The process of going up and down always happens all the time and only smart people can take advantage of every momentum to become an opportunity.

It's always same when price is dropping, it's not matter how much, people are panicking. This drop was predicted by some people, if you read news and if you follow some influencers, they wrote about bitcoin going down to 8000 dollars again, and look we are close to that price. Bitcoin is not down drastically, it's perspective, so where is bitcoin price now depends on period of time you are observing. It's down since bitcoin ath, but it's up if you compare it with the price from the start of this year.
I'm not upset by this drop, I sold at +10k, I'm waiting for moment to buy again, bitcoin will rise over 10k again, it's just a question of time.
