You'd be surprised just how many people might be gullible enough to believe that. Plenty of people thought he was some sort of profit sent to give knowledge and make everyone rich, gullible people believe what they want to believe rather than what's actually true.

Right. He already blamed it on impersonaters on the internet for having made a $78,000 before the end of the year prediction, while it was actually him having said so on video. He will very likely end up doing the same, or just state that it was more of a joke'ish prediction to benchmark his confidence in the market by that time frame.

In the end, John McAfee is a money hungry slut. He made that more than clear by having the Skycoin logo tattooed on his body for ever. If you consider that his ICO Tweets don't come cheap, imagine what Skycoin had to offer McAfee to get him to do this.

Predicting the bottom right now has a more chance of being correct rather than predicting what the ceiling is. Right now 2,500$ bottom is a possibility given that we are in a situation where all bottoms needs to be in consideration, and maybe he is doing this statement for publicity purposes just like what other known figures in the crypto industry are doing right now. But even if he is right with the bottom price of Bitcoin it doesn't mean that he will be right with his long term target price, we need to be real and cannot take only his word when the bear market is over.

Well we need to respect the opinion of others even it's a prediction and I think nothing is wrong if he predict that. Many people also believe that bitcoin will be drop before go higher. We dont know when but the important is still we can use cryptocurrencies  and bitcoin.
